Owen scrimmages Shelby this wednesday, so we will see how the fair against one the the regions top teams.

The first two innings were rough for both pitchers. Neeley came off the mound after the first and had at least two inches of mud caked on his cleats. Conners starter also looked like he was having a difficult time with the mud.

Eastern by 9.

Connor 4 Owen 0 Rebels got solid pitching out of Neeley and Cox, but couldn't seem to get the bats going. Connor had solid pitching, and I was really impressed with the Shuttleworth(sp) kid he is very talented. Connor also had a nice two run shot in the first inning.

Any thoughts on how this one will turn out? I think it should be very interesting:thumb:

Im going with Adair in this one.

I haven't seen Eastern play but I know that Corbin will play physical and Eastern will have to match that to win IMO. Either of these teams have the potential to win the whole tourny and since the top part of the bracket is a cake walk for these teams after the 1st round game between each other.
