Not only is Navy a great academic school, their baseball team has done quite well the last few years.

Yesterday Will Shuttleworth of Conner made it official by signing his Offer of Appointment from the US Naval Academy in a signing ceremoney at Conner. Navy's baseball coach is getting a talented ballplayer, an outstanding student, and a great leader. Congratulations and best of luck. Beat Army!!!

Will Shuttleworth from Conner has verbably committed to Navy. From what I understand, he is just waiting on a Congressional Nomination before he can officially sign. These usually come out in January.

I know the Shuttleworths very well. Will Shuttleworth has indeed committed to play baseball at the United States Naval Academy. He is a great kid and an exceptionally hard working individual. Congratulations and Beat Army!!!

Who pitched for Conner?

Kings 18u tryouts showed tons of talent. Some 75-80 kids showed up for the two day event. Bobby Mullins and Marty Connor sure know how to bring them in. Talent from all area High Schools ..Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. Kings should once again be a Top team next year!!!!

16 year old Kings played very well with the score 0-0 in the 5th. Kings left 12 men on base and could not come up with a big two out hit. Indy Bulls looked tough!

Correct Itiswhatitis! The Kings had only 10 players and two of them were from the 16 year old Kings team.

Raiders need to use the "home field" to thier advantage by having a huge fan turnout. The atmosphere for the Regional game was absoultely fantastic. I am not affilated with either team...just wanted to watch a great game Ryle vs. Cov Cath. I was truly impressed with the turnout and enthusium of the Ryle supporting cast. (Especially the students behind the dugout for the 7th inning). The Ryle fans deserve credit for a great turnout!

Thanks C-squared!

Who won Boone Co. vs. Beechwood? Did St. Henry advance?

Conner wins 8-7 scoring 2 in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs.

Sophmore from Conner Tyler Brake deserves some mention. Batting .523, 4 HR, 26 BB, with over 100 AB's. Plays a great first base defensively.

Yes...5-1. The difference in the game was some great outfield play by St. Henry outfielders. Some great catches and 2 assists at home plate!

Great Job Conner!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Young Talent!!!!!!!!!!!!
