I heard nearly all the Highlands fans leaving the game yesterday commenting, "If Collinsworth doesn't pick it up and hold on to the ball we're in trouble," "That Towles kid is to young, he's only 17 for 30 in his first two varsity starts with 310 yards passing." How do you fix a young QB? The personal foul situation you are absolutely correct on. I'm sure that will be addressed.

In reading some of these post it sound like no one wants anything to do with the game on Saturday.

Yes, it's very distracting to them. Look at their record and you can see what a devastating effect it's having on them.

With all due respect I wouldn't say Conner is great with or without West. West doesn't have near the mobility that Bardo has. He is a good QB, but IMO is not the all around QB that Bardo is. How many years has he QB'd at Conner?

Highlands plays the game at a totally different level than Covington Catholic right now. This will be 4 or 5 touchdown margin of victory for Highlands.

If Towles had thrown 6 touchdowns passes tonight you will would still be very critical of him. Not quite sure what your angle is.

This will be a tremendous atmosphere for both teams to showcase their talents. I really think the Birds have a chance to pull this off. I would not be surprised to see Bardo's number called 15-20 times. This will keep the Bombers defense a little more honest.

Number 20 for Highlands had a nice pick off return for a touchdown. The Birds offense was pretty dominant again for the 4th week in a row. I think they have Scott County next week.

It doesn't get any easier for Boone next week. If they stay within 24 points of Highlands they will be doing very good.

The Birds sophomore QB threw 4 TD passes. Wide receiver Gall had 4 TD catches.

Ryles not even ranked in the top ten in the state. I think most teams that play Cov. Cath. this year will be deemed as "a really tough team."

Highlands in a very big way over Ryle. You will see how talented this Birds team is and realize how very good Manual is.

No disrespect, but since when has NCC’s defense become the barometer for determining how gifted a quarterback is? A very uncharacteristic inept Covington Catholic offense put up 38 points on them last year. Why wouldn’t a junior putting up those kinds of numbers in “Big Boy” games be getting a lot more looks? Maybe he his I don’t know.

A great deal of Highland's success will be a result of Bardo running the football. You not only only have to cover a host of talented receivers, but then you have to deal with a 6'4 200lb quarterback who runs a 4.5. Based on Bardo alone I would be very suprised to see a Northern Kentucky team come within three touchdowns of Highlands this year.

She hasn't played with that group for a couple of years.
