Actually very good game till about the middle of the fourth quarter, not sure how many lead changes but I'm sure Statman has that. Great crowd on a Tuesday at Beechwood. Congrats to Scotty Draud on his 2,000 points. Holmes played about as well and as hard as I have saw them play this year for about 3 quarters.

Very nice comeback by the Rebels on Henry County's home court, my first trip to Henry Countys gym, nice facility. Some key treys by Boone County's guards and Parker Fields played some solid defense in the fourth quarter.

Congrats, nice win, Montgomery County gym, may be my favorite in the state.

Congrats to Ashland, one of Kentuckys storied programs, sure remember the days when the AIT was the best tournament in the state, used to come down with Holmes and enjoy some very good high school basketball.

Congrats to Coach Browning and his staff on the win, props to number 3 (Profitt)) of Scott, I know,at one time he had 23 of their 27 points, I believe he ended up with 32 or 33, Parker Fields led Boone County with 20. Nice win for Boone, I sat behind Boones bench, the energy on Boones bench was exciting to watch, good luck to both teams as this young season gets under way.

Final from Covington. Holmes led in scoring by Mullins with 29, Holmes had 18 point lead at one time, Gallatin started hitting the trey and Holmes had some turn overs. Fun up and down game to watch.

If the Calloway brothers have as good a year in basketball as they did in football, they will have a great year. The football players are just now starting to practice because of the playoffs. Mullins will be fun to watch, the young man can jump out off the gym as they say. Watch for another football player named Hall to really help on the boards. I think they will be better under Coach Carrs system for,the his second season. Will be a work in progress and a fun team to watch.

Congrats to,the Scott Eagles, as I posted on update thread, great game and two,teams that seem to be evenly matched. Not a lot of flags and zero unsportsmanlike flags, would like to,see Scott pull the huge upset. Perrin and The Calloways alone are worth the price of admission. Neither of these teams got much publicity or talked about, but both had very good year. Holmes exceeded most people's expectations, Coach Nevels and staff did a yomans job with this team, the good news for Holmes is most of the key people return, don't get me wrong, Holmes losses a couple of key players, but most of,the offense returns. Very proud of the Bulldogs and rooting for Scott. Thanks for another fun game.
