Yes, sad but true, a Northern Ky legend and will be missed, I have had the good fortune of coaching at Holmes the last two,years and did pa for basketball many years, Stan has been so good to me and my family, he was so proud of the football team this year and making plans today to host the district game. Prayers for Stans family, I,will truly miss Coach Steidel as so many will.

If not the biggest, for sure one of the biggest against a quality team, running back for,Scott is very good. So happy for Coach Nevels and staff and the young men of Holmes, this team is still very young with very few seniors, some important seniors, but still very young. One of the big differences in this team is if they get behind in the game they don't panic. The Calloways or awesome athletics, number 5 for Holmes, Tate is a very strong receiver and Foster is having a very good year and the line has did a great job. Huge win for the program. On to Bellevue next week then a home district game against Harrison or Rowan. Congrats to the Bulldogs.

You are spot on, I agree with you one hundred per cent, glad you posted this, I am a Holmes guy and I have said Scott needs to be in the class 4 rating, they are having a nice year and need some love, I am hoping for a good game Friday for,the top seed.

Yes, Holmes has some young talent coming up and playing some freshman, Holmes has some size for a change and the numbers are up,this year. It was good to,see the players celebrate with the cheerleaders and fans after the game. Holmes didn't play great tonight, I give,the credit to Harrison's defense, but pulled out a huge district win, Holmes and Harrison seem to always play close games.

Final from Covington, Holmes goes to 3 and 0 in district play and will host a home play off game for,the first time in many years. Harrison scored on the opening drive and led 7 to 0 at halftime. Holmes scored on a 4 th down play with a one handed catch in the corner of the end zone on a pass from Calloway to Tate. Harrison has 3 really strong running backs. Holmes travels to Scott next Friday to,play a really strong Scott Eagle team for top seed in the district.
