For the Tigers, Scotty Draud 27 points, needed 11 for 2,000, got it in the 2nd quarter on a 3-point FG

Will Downton with 14 and Mitchell Rylee with 12.

Quantez Calloway led the Bulldogs with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Mullins with 15 and Foster with 11.

Important district win for Beechwood.

Actually very good game till about the middle of the fourth quarter, not sure how many lead changes but I'm sure Statman has that. Great crowd on a Tuesday at Beechwood. Congrats to Scotty Draud on his 2,000 points. Holmes played about as well and as hard as I have saw them play this year for about 3 quarters.

Beechwood JV and Frosh both get come from behind wins in OT. 3-0 on the night. Will Rolf 25 in JV tilt.

Pretty awesome moment watching Draud bury a trey to hit the 2000 point marker. He has the potential next season to a) eclipse his Dad at 2865; b) hit 3000; c) pass Brandon Hatton and if he can get the extra games in the All A this year and next AND make it to the regional this year AND next, pass Donatie Allen and finish his career in the top 10 scoring in KY all time.

That is impressive. Lost in all this is what a remarkable job Eric Goetz and his staff have done since taking over the Beechwood program. Should be fun to watch Draud the next 30 games of his career.

Also, in regards to tonight's game, Holmes is really good. Coach Carr just needs to adjust a few things and they will be very dangerous around District time no matter where they fall seed wise. Both Calloways, Foster, Mullins and freshman leaper Eian Elmer were all very impressive.

Elmer's dunk..my lord.

When Holmes just plays the game, they are good. When they worry about all the other stuff, they play poorly.
