Congrats to both teams. I thought this was gonna be the result with HC winning big, but OC has some really nice players that can play for any team in NKY. HC has improved drastically since the BW game. That is why you play teams like BW early in the season so you can see what your weaknesses are and address them for this time of year. HC/NCC will be a great game to watch next week. On a side note, the OC fans were some of the nicest fans Ive come across as a visitor to a stadium. Fans in NKY could really learn something from them. Who could look past a team that hasn't been beaten all year? I doubt Owen will have anyone looking past them the rest of this season if they get past HC. Owen isn't underneath the HC radar, even with a potential NCC rematch lurking

Owen has some really big boys. HC has alot of speed. Both teams like to spread the ball around. Their shouldn't be alot of secrets around each teams gameplans. Not sure Owen has seen this kind of speed from the teams they defeated on their schedule. Owen should have alot of confidence coming into the game being undefeated and playing at home. HC should feel good about getting to play an undefeated team. I like the storyline around this game, but not sure Owen will be able to contain HC's skill kids.

This is the best test for Owen Co this year. HC has played a much better schedule, which I think has prepared them well for this time of year. I think HC takes this one by 21.

Since Owen beat Lloyd earlier in the season and Lloyd beat Newport, do you think that means Owen should beat Newport easily? Remember, HC had a running clock againt Lloyd and Newport. Owen barely beat Lloyd even gaining 8 turnovers. I don't like to predict outcomes based on scores of common opponents, but if we did that here, HC should roll them dont you think?

The Litkenhous ratings have Owen Co at 12th. Still not a top 10 team there either. Some of it has to do with Strength of Schedule. Undefeated is undefeated. No one can take that away from them, but if you haven't beaten anyone on any top 15 list in any class its hard to put them in the top 10 of their own Class

The winner will get NCC. I don't think either will challenge NCC, especially Lloyd. Walton runs the ball well so it could be a little more interesting, but I don't think either team can slow NCC down regardless of who is playing Qb for NCC

Unfortunately at Dayton, this has become common for the kids to do this at the end of the season in recent years. Its a shame because I remember some really good Dayton teams. If Bellevue, Dayton, and Newport came together as one school, they would dominate imo. Since it will never happen, Bellevue will have some really good teams every 5yrs or so. Newport will have one every 10yrs. Dayton may not have another good team for a long time......like they used to and its not Coach Montgomery's fault either
