It sounds as if NCC fans are trying to prove themselves as the best here. They have already proven that they are the best last year and remain the best until someone beats them in 2A. No one from HC is saying that they arent the best and don't deserve their credit. They are the defending state champs for a reason. NCC is expected to win state. No one expects HC to win state. However, NCC has to go to what is expected of them this year first

Hayes has played very well the last few weeks. Hightchew is a great athlete. HC has some really good athletes as well. I wouldn't count them out so early. This is why we play the game. I think it is going to be a close win for whoever wins

I didn't know we were comparing signature wins. Obviously NCC has many signature wins. No one is disputing that, but to say that HC doesn't have one is interesting. I wouldve thought that a win, even if it is only one, against a great program like NCC would qualify

Im not a BW guy, but reading the Mayfield posters antagonizing the BW fans every week is annoying. It is starting to make me cheer for anyone playing them

I would ask Hightchew if he thinks Fuller is less competitve than him. You could say that to some teams, but many teams up here compete just as hard as he does

Well if you went to NCC, you need to get your money back because obviously you cant count. NCC is a good school and Im sure they teach people how to count. Obviously you were napping in math class or you need glasses because you are wrong. Im sorry if this hurt your feelings because everyone else has moved on from the point. I think 1A, 3A, 4A, and 6A will be a forgone conclusion before the title game. The best teams in that class will definitely play before Bowling Green

2A, 3A, 4A, and 6A have arguably the best two teams playing this weekend. Is this the state championship in those classes? Beechwood and Mayfield may be next weekend in 1A. Are the titles decided before the actual title is given?

It was 4 TD's for Cooper and 3 TD's for NCC. What was your point about the 2nd and 3rd team for NCC being in in the 3rd and 4th quarters? Cooper had their backups in as well. Well, using your logic, I guess we should go ahead and crown NCC 2A champs since there is no way that NCC can be beaten. That is why we play the game. I guess we will see this Friday. Underdogs are capable of winning. BW beat NCC the last 2yrs and were underdogs in both games. Do you think that NCC would think they would get beaten again in either season, especially last year, if they were to play BW 2 times in a season? Of course not. They always think they are gonna win. Why should HC go into this game and assume there is nothing they can do to win? They are gonna play hard and give it their best shot, thinking they have a chance to win. Im not saying that HC will win. I hope they do, but HC isn't gonna go in and think is is pointless because the outcome is already decided.

I agree about the other games and comparing scores from common opponents. You can't really gauge how good a team matches up against another by how the played against common opponents. Look at BW barely beating Holmes. BW had 6 turnovers. Since the score was close, does that mean that Scott and SK would be close with BW since Holmes was close to those two other teams. Of course not. BW showed that by pummling SK by 4 TD's. This is the only one that matters for either team because its win or go home. It will be interesting to see the adjustments from both teams. I was at the first game and thought it was very competitive for 3 1/2 quaters. NCC scored a late one on a very good pass from Hightchew to seal the game. I think it will be very competitive again. I think it will be a close win for whoever wins. Cant wait

NCC was expected to beat and favored against everyone they played this year werent they? I could be wrong against BW, but since BW had so many people out I figured they were favored prior to playing

Cooper won the 5A district up here. They cant be too bad. They beat NCC in their scrimmage at the beginning of the year. Does that matter? Of course not. BW beating HC this year, does that matter? Of course not. NCC letting less points be scored on their backups that HC's backups in the district, does that matter? Of course not. Most of these points people are tyring to make doesn't matter. This is the postseason. What matters is this week. NCC beat Dixie, who was suppose to be soooooo good, without Pike(which was the main reason people thought they would be good). I guess, looking at NCC's schedule, their signature win was HC? Im sure they wouldn't say that, but who would it be? Most of the teams on their schedule have a losing record. I would like to know who NCC fans think was their big win, since HC didn't beat anyone but the Sisters of the Poor

Wow! Nothing else needs to be said. Pete said most of it. I guess HC should just quit because they didn't beat anyone that is any good this year. Way to disrespect several teams that had good seasons and make all of NCC's games sound like they played the 84 Bears
