  1. Im not saying that HC will, but I think NCC will have a harder time with this team than they think. If they are looking ahead to Beechwood, this could be very interesting
  2. Absolutely. I think HC would win the 5A district in NKY
  3. I hope NCC doesn't take this game too lightly since there is NO WAY HC can stop NCC's running game
  4. Walton will win big, but only because Brossart is down to many JV players having to play varsity due to injury. I wouldve like to see this game earlier in the year. I think the outcome would be like most of the Brossart/Walton games have been. Very competitive and very close. Good Luck to both teams
  5. 1. Highlands 2. CCH 3. Beechwood 4. NCC 5. Campbell County 6. Ryle 7. Boone 8. Dixie 9. Holy Cross 10. Cooper
  6. I have seen both teams play and it should be a very good game. NCC is very efficient in running the football. They tend not to panic regardless of the situation. If HC is going to win, they must be able to stop the run. If NCC is going to win the game, they need to not let HC jump out early and control the clock. It will be interesting to see NCC play from behind if HC would jump out to an early lead. I think this might be the game of the week
  7. Agreed he would be a viable option. When the last OC moved him to WR, he seemed to really flourish. WR is a natural position for him. New coach probably doesn't want to take him from that role
  8. Why would a coach say that? I understand getting younger guys more clock to prepare them for next year, but why would you bench your seniors? That doesnt seem fair if they havent quit on their team
  9. HC will win, but will not try to run up the score. They have too much class for that. The Brossart kids won't give up regardless of the score or who is playing QB. HC has both coordinators from last year's Brossart team and would never try to embarrass the Brossart kids if they have the opportunity to do so. Alot of young kids are playing for Brossart and many young kids from HC should get some work this week and need to it to develop both programs. Good luck to both teams
  10. Congrats to the little Eagles. Hopefully they can build some momentum from a big win to finish the season
  11. A 43 point loss is inexcusable, but Beechwood is a top 10 team in the state in any division imo. It was 14-12 at the half. If you make some big mistakes against a good team and things start going downhill, its hard to stop. I think the game would be much closer if both teams were to play again, but Beechwood is a better team. I think their is alot of parity in the 2A class outside of NCC. They are clearly the best team in 2A, but HC will get their chance to show that they have improved since the Beechwood loss.
  12. I agree Pburg is probably a bit too high, but still in the top 10. Bardstown and HC should be higher
  13. I call them like I see them. When the NKY teams I have followed go down state, the officiating has been horendous. The crews up here are way better than what I have seen down state, but I still don't think it is all that good. Do you disagree? Ask some of the head coach's up here if they think it is good. Can we put a poll on this? Let's see what other's say about it being good or bad
  14. The officiating in NKY is bad and is getting worse each year. However, compared with the rest of the state, the officiating up here is far better. If you really want to see what bad officiating is, go to the rural parts of the state.
  15. Pulling for Lloyd in this one, but NCC can name the score
  16. You didn't deny that you said it. The only thing that is way off is that fact you can't take a little bit of criticism. Coach, you should have better things to do than be on Bluegrass preps and take things personally, like getting a gameplan together that might actually work. Calling people out and asking them to confront you is juvenile, I might add, but certainly nothing you would really like to entertain. Does this prove my point that you might not be the right man for the job? I will let you answer that question to yourself. Obviously, I will be the bigger person and not act like Im 12 on here and drop your nonsense. Good luck to your kids and team the next few weeks.
  17. Well, since he is such an intimidating person, I would be WAY too scared to say anything to him. I guess you shut me up with barely beating a first year 2A team in the final seconds of the game. Very impressive. I guess you shut me up then. Maybe the head coach isn't the only one is arrogant out in Lloyd land, since this is probably the head coach. He is the only one who would talk like this on here. Still not impressed with you(him). The fact that the kids havent quit is a testament to having good kids. As I have mentioned before, they have some nice athletes. Too bad they might be surrounded with people with such narrow perspectives. Lloyd's head coach threw his kids under the bus after the HC loss and said if his kids werent' soft and they would have executed his plan, they wouldve won. The score was 53-14. How can anyone say something so brilliant in a blowout when the dogs were called off at halftime. Im sure his kids would love to know how highly he talks about them behing their backs. Yep, Lloyd has a good one
  18. Newport has some nice players, but not enough to win this one. HC 41-14
  19. Im taking BB in a close one. As previously mentioned, Lloyd has many injuries that will hurt them. Brossar and Newport are the two teams that they have to beat to get into the playoffs. They were a bit overmatched against HC and will be against NCC. With the mentioned injuries and , imo, an arrogant head coach that will hinder them in a close game. I think one of the coordinators is also suspended for his actions towards players. Coach Lucas may have struggled the last couple of years, but he never acted nor had any of his coaches act in the unprofessional way this current staff is right now. I wish the kids Good Luck down the stretch because they do have some really nice players, but this coaching staff has alot to learn, in my opinion, if Lloyd is ever to get back to the tradition and good teams they once had.
  20. 7- Boone 5- Walton 3- Cooper 2- Bellevue 1- Dayton TB-Boone
  21. Newport is way too much for this year's Ludlow team, imo. Ludlow has had some really nice athletes the last couple of years and could have played with Newport. This year Newport looks to have taken a step forward and Ludlow is struggling a bit
  22. I have seen both teams play due to the fact of scouting for Holy Cross. South played Oldham Co a couple weeks ago, which Holy Cross beat easily last week. South squeeked one out against Oldham Co and Conner beat Holy Cross by 3TD's, which I saw in person as well. South has some nice players, but I don't think enough to beat Conner
  23. Frankfort struggled with Newport early in the season, and imo should have lost to a Newport team that is still learning to win, and if they haven't corrected mistakes shown in that game they will not win this game
