  1. Excellant reply. The QB can definitly pass, BUT, will the coach do it???? Just making the play offs is nice, BUT, at some point you have to change your play calling to try and win a state title, not just be satisfied with play offs each year. It seems other NKY 6A teams are taking that step.
  2. Great school to attend, congradulations Tate, what an accomplishment that makes your family very proud. Good Luck!
  3. Boone lost its starting QB last year against SK, which at the time, had been comming into his own passing the ball. He returns this year, also with Quainoo, who was leading the state in rushing yardage until an ankle injury side lined him late in the season. Oppenheimer, a sophmore, stepped in and gained good yardage to close out the season. Boone will have one of the top running back duos in the state this year, and will be able to pass with the return of their QB from last year. SK is the team to beat right now, no doubt. Looking forward to an exciting football season in 6A.
  4. Last year Boone was alos underrated I believe the Rebels will turn a few heads again this year!!:thumb:
  5. Yes he was he was really starting to get a lot of confidence, then thats when he got hurt. Hopefully he comes out this year just as strong as he ended up last year.
  6. BCHS starter Nate Alford will be back at qb.
  7. I agree Boone will have a really strong backfield, but will need to be able to throw the ball to win games.
  8. I agree, we being parents all wish him and his family the best through the up comming rehabilitation times, but we all realize that he worked hard at becomming the basketball player that he is today, and we know he and his family will do the same now to get him back to the level of player he can be, to go on to the next level of basketball that I'm sure he wants to play.
  9. Thank you Old Guy, I didn't know how I was going to hear the game.
  10. Boone by 14, playing good ball right now, Congradulations to BW for their outstanding season.
  11. This is something that I want my family to read, thank you for passing this on. Wonderful story.
  12. Does Oppenheimer still play ball for Boone. I know he was playing on freshman team last year in their Freshman tournament win? Was a big contributor in that tournament last year.
  13. Who was the sophomore running back from Boone that had some good games at the end of the year and in the playoffs in the place of their starting back because of an injury? Will they both be in the back field next year at the same time?
  14. I agree. It is a shame that with four high schools in Boone county now, the talent level in all the sports at the schools get deluted some what because of the talent in Boone county being spread between the four schools. Good luck to Cooper and the rest of the coaches and players, makes for great rivalries in Boone county.
  15. Congradulations to all recipients. Glad to see two Boone players recognized. Eagler is a heck of a football player, started both ways, but also is an excellant role model for the sopohmore and juniors on the team as a player, and as a young man.
  16. I see that Mr. Roller has a great support group and also the fine replys from the BGP members show that we may disagree on some things, but, we all know when it is time to support anyone that is needing our prayers and support in a case such as Mr. Roller, who continues his efforts to get back to a normal life style and back to the Highlands football field. God bless you and your family, and the BGP members.
  17. Couldn't have wrote it any better, God bless the family and Steve.
  18. Who was the sophomore running back at Boone County toward the end of the year, wasn't he pretty productive?
