I agree, we being parents all wish him and his family the best through the up comming rehabilitation times, but we all realize that he worked hard at becomming the basketball player that he is today, and we know he and his family will do the same now to get him back to the level of player he can be, to go on to the next level of basketball that I'm sure he wants to play.

Does Oppenheimer still play ball for Boone. I know he was playing on freshman team last year in their Freshman tournament win? Was a big contributor in that tournament last year.

Who was the sophomore running back from Boone that had some good games at the end of the year and in the playoffs in the place of their starting back because of an injury? Will they both be in the back field next year at the same time?

I agree. It is a shame that with four high schools in Boone county now, the talent level in all the sports at the schools get deluted some what because of the talent in Boone county being spread between the four schools. Good luck to Cooper and the rest of the coaches and players, makes for great rivalries in Boone county.

Congradulations to all recipients. Glad to see two Boone players recognized. Eagler is a heck of a football player, started both ways, but also is an excellant role model for the sopohmore and juniors on the team as a player, and as a young man.

I see that Mr. Roller has a great support group and also the fine replys from the BGP members show that we may disagree on some things, but, we all know when it is time to support anyone that is needing our prayers and support in a case such as Mr. Roller, who continues his efforts to get back to a normal life style and back to the Highlands football field. I agree, Sk deserves all the prise they are receiving on this victrory. I guess Boone lived by the run, and died by the run. Sk was well prepared, the players have all stepped up, and it showed in the ball game. CONGRADULATIONS!!!

Sk is a good team , they are where they are because they don't give up. Please look at the schedules that the two teams have played since the Sk game. Sk hasn't played any team ranked in the top 10 in 6a, Boone has played Madison Central, lost in the last 21 seconds, and HC twice, we know that story.Boone also started the season off playing Scott County the first game of the season at Scott. Totally different competition. Boone will prevail in this one, maybe a closer game, but Boone has showed what it can do against the upper teams in the state in 6A. Boone is not a team of stars, they are a senior driven team, and plays as a team. Good luck to SK, and if they win, we all here in NKY will behind them 100%.

Boone moved the ball on HC defense, which is probably one of the top 5 in the state. Sk defense is not HC. Boone can throw the ball now, proved it Friday night when the game was on the line. I look for Boones offense to move the ball. DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE, Boone has the edge in this one.

I agree that Oppenheimer is more tha capable of getting the job done, but give credit also to the offensive line and the backs that block for him or Quainoo, which ever is in the game. Defense wins football games, and BCHS is very strong, proved it in the war last night against a good HC team. Good luck to both teams. BCHS 28 SK 14
