  1. I agree, the JV team will have a slow start, but with more experience and practice, they will shape up to be a decent looking team.
  2. I think you hit the nail on the head:deadhorse:
  3. It definately could have been worse two touchdowns were called back. Indians controlled the line of scrimmage all game, the future looks promising for the indians. :ylsuper:
  4. Buckler is a good back, but IMO not on the same caliber as Roenker. I have to disagree with you there that he was the best back on the field that night.
  5. No bashing intended honestly, but 75% of Bucklers yards were aganist the jv team. HC 1st team defense stifled them. Also, can't say enough about how hard both teams played, Belluve never gave up, good group of kids.
  6. HAHA I have nothing to say if you actually mean that statment about Roenker, did not see any game last year? I'll take HC by 15 or 20. Bellevue won't be able to stop the O. I doubt Buckler goes over 100, which means the Bellvue O won't put up many.
  7. Holy Cross is going to be as strong as they have ever been this year with the majority of the starters on offense coming back. They will be exciting to watch
  8. Will be very inexperinced, hopefully can pull it together for an average year. The main problem with the Holy Cross Basketball team is that they have 4 or 5 starters and a few solid bench players who dont even play, ask any one close to the incoming senior class, that is not an exageration what so ever. I'll leave the reasoning to why no one plays to your imagination. :puke:
  9. What exactuly is it I was wondering why Coach Koz(HC) didn't bring his kids down for that.
  10. While these leagues are fun, it's pretty hard to gage. Newport destroyed Holy Cross the first week, then vice versa this past week. FYI Dayton did not beat HC in the passing league they scored late twice, just to be exact.
  11. There was no knock intended. But to think that he could do what Simpson, Qaiunoo, Elliot, or Roenker can is just wrong. He just physically isn't as good as them. No one ever questioned his heart and stats, certainly not I. But there becomes a point when the scedules and obvious physical differences need to be pointed out, like in a thread like this. :thumb:
  12. One of my favorite places in the world (granted I haven't been out of the Country much ) is about 4 hours south and it goes by the name of Cumberland. Great times.:thumb:
  13. Great Players, Steve isn't quite up to par with the other hitters mentioned, and Andy wouldn't beat out Isler if a pitcher were to get it.
  14. I like your thinking except behind Buckler. As far as pure running back I have Andy over AS. I can see your comparision to Bishop. :thumb:
  15. Nice rip on HC fans seems well thought out :thumb:. But yes if you have to think about more than numbers. Someone said Buckler is over him. No knock on him but he wouldn't get the job done they way Simpson, Quainoo, Roenker, Elliot have and will. I would honestly be willing to put Kelly, Klei, Pugh, and Oppenhiemer a head of him on the list, good back for the system and schedule.
  16. No knock intended, but how and who do you see ahead of him?
  17. Any notion that Klei, Buckler, Chappie, Chris Kelly, or Pugh over Roenker is wrong IMO. He put up big numbers, is one of the strongest and biggest out of the pool, and put the Indians on his back when he had to. My list goes (not having AS as a RB) Simpson Quianno Roenker Elliot Kelly Klei Pugh Toss up for the last 3.
  18. China max in the mall, great stuff. :thumb:
  19. It is going to be tough to beat Beechwood this year. They are at the top of class A football year in and year out.
  20. Congrats Mike, Murray State doesn't know what a steal they just got.
  21. Yes I agree they both should be on that list. But I would have to say the number one should be Miles Simpson. He is one heck of a player.
