I agree completely. I think the top will look, for the most part, the same way it looked most of last year:

1. Beechwood

2. LCA

3. Frankfort

4. Hazard

5. Raceland

You can change them around some, but for the most part those 5 teams will be in the front of the pack.

I thought Hazard graduates most of its top guys.

I would agree with you, Ram. I will also add that the LCA and Raceland district will again be the toughest in 1A. Maybe not from top to bottom, but the upper level teams vying for the top 2 spots will be between LCA, Raceland, Fairview and a good young Paris team.

Hey Ram, allow me to extend it to 10 teams so I can slide the Harlan Green Dragons into about the #8 spot :D. Possibly in that top 5 late in the season. We are a skilled player or two short of making a lot of noise.

I don't understand, but OK.

The road to 1A on the east side will run through Lexington, literaly. LCA has Raceland at home and all playoff games would be played in Lexington, except for the for the final one.

I don't understand, but OK.

I believe they are a top 10 team in 1A this year. And expect they will win a few playoff games.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't understand what you were saying. What do they have coming back?

Apparently everything but two quality skilled players.

I 100% agree here Coach. "To be the best, you have to beat the best" and Beechwood has proven time and time again they are the best in Class A.

I certainly agree on #1 and #2, no question imo. Ram, you are imo correct in that the others could be switched around and no one would have a complaint imo. I also believe that Fairview will step up with a very good football team, the Eagles ar very well coached and could very well make some noise in our district. Raceland has some very big holes to fill from graduation losses from the 08' 12-1 district championship team. Raceland as always will play a murderers row out of district schedule and with a tougher district this season it will be a challenge, the Rams do have some talent returning and imo will be ready come playoff time.

:thumb: I agree, this district imo will belong to LCA. Raceland has LCA in Lexington this season and with LCA imo being one of the two best in all of class A that will be a tough task for the Rams. Fairview imo is a real sleeper in this district and could very well be right there untill the end and in the playoffs.

The only replacements are a Fullback on O and a Safety on D. 13 to possibly 15 seniors strong this year. Big # of Seniors for Harlan football.

Sounds very promising. What was their record last year?
