  1. Cov. Cath. likes to use the quick short sideline passes against their opponents, with a lot of success. If THE BIRDS give them too much room, Cov. Cath. will 8 - 10 yards their way down the field, or break it for a bigger gain. I hope Dale plays his DB's closer to the LOS to prevent this from happening. He's had better sucess against their passing when he defends this way. GO BIRDS!:thumb:
  2. :thumb: I think if Highlands gets a 45 pt. or more lead, Dale will put in the reserves. That's what he usually does. The game, at this point, is probably won, and there is no good reason to take a chance of getting the first string injured. Plus, it gives the reserves a chance to get valuable experence since we're going to lose a lot of really good players next year. GO BIRDS!:thumb:
  3. Feel bad for Mason Co, but am glad 2nd and 3rd strings for the Birds get valuable experience. Are there any freshmen playing?
  4. Thanks from me too. I'll be watching all night.:thumb:
  5. Does anyone have any information on the Mason Cty. football team?
  6. Henry, Where can I buy a copy of this game?
  7. Thanks again, Warrior, from those of us who could not be there, you're doing a great job.
  8. What channel will it be on Direct TV?
  9. Great job JB, really enjoy this site.:thumb:
  10. Trinity is very good, but your statement is laughable.
  11. Did you realize the word "Bluebird" is on the Cov. Cath. bus? I know it's the manufacturer, but makes me smile when I walk past it.
  12. Good game Birds! ....gave the JV team good playing experience. Ryle will put up similar #'s against Boone Co.
  13. Trinity by whatever they want. They are way too good for Manual this year.
  14. NO! Wish they would play every Friday night, maybe monday night football as well.:thumb:
  15. Louis St. X beat Trinity TWICE, Cin St. X beat Louis St. X and beat Trinity BADLY, and Highlands beat Cin St. X. Highlands would have stomped Trinity if they had played this year. Oxnard, you just have to face the fact that sometimes Highlands is better than Trinity; this is one of those times. You just have absolutely no argument.:thumb:
  16. Delta Rotary, because there is no way you can deny the FACT that Highlands beat the team that throughly beat Louis. St. X, you have to resort to the only thing you have left which is, what if? Your arguments show your pride for your team, but are extremely weak. Highlands dominated Cin. St. X and would have dominated Louis. St. X even greater.:thumb:
  17. JBWill, I think Dale and these fine young champions were so successful, in part, because of the weekly cautions you provided in not underestimating the other teams. What would we do without you.:thumb:
  18. I would love to see a John Harden/Johnson Central game. Two very good hard hitting teams batteling it out. Would be a great game,
  19. Way to go Birds! The tradition continues! We are proud of you!:thumb:
  20. Highlands beating Cin. St. X is my #1. I have never witnessed such a tremendous atmosphere during and after the game, before this game. It was really great to be able to go on the field and mingle and talk with the players and coaches after the game! Not many wanted to leave the stadium for quite a while
  21. The game will be broadcast live on KHSAA.EZSTREAM.COM also. GO BIRDS!
  22. Go Highlands! Dominate every play, every JH player! Win that state trophy!:thumb:
