Watched Harlan a lot this summer. Saragas is much improved at PG, very comfortable and knocking down shots from perimeter. I look for Ely and Begley to have breakout years. Taylor also looks solid. Most improved player far and away is Cody Logan although all have worked hard. New addition Brad Tomlin 6'4 has a soft touch and rebounds well, but his defense needs work. Also transfer Cody Nolan @ 6'4 is very athletic on the practice floor, but yet to see varsity game action. Benches about 300. This team should be much improved from last year.

Finally justice for all the kids that never got cleared

:thumb: It is correct...at PCC. HC simply dominated this game. PCC hit one big play on a 4th and long post pattern for their only score. Huff ran for his life most of the night. PCC has some exceptional athletes that are very young, so does HC. This series should be great for the next few years.

NO Smith could be problematic for the Bears. I know two names that really need to step up......

Something interesting I have read since becoming involved in this thread.....Many have siad Mitchell was ultimately cleared including administrators of this site....KSHAA still records the playoff win to Bell county as a forfeit 1-0 yet the championship has never been stripped. If you don't believe me check for yourself.......Not trying to get suspended...I'm just saying.....It's on their site for the reading.....

Agreed...My point is the score of that game was like 13-7 or something like that. A Highlands fumble recovery for 62 yards of one of Highlands' scores. Bell fumbled entering the endzone nullifying a a score. Take those two plays out of the game and Bell wins and domnates all catagories. It was inferred that Bell need not show up if they played this year...To that point I disagree. Year in year out Bell is not Highlands...neither is Boyle for that matter. The game would be better to watch than many would believe....

Seems to me like the last time these teams played, Bell dominated in every catagory except score & fumbles. Highlands had 92 yards total offense. Eliiminate the two Bell fumbles and the score would have been like 14-6 maybe...Bell. BTW Davenport is as fast as anyone on Highlands team...believe it. Grass or turf...lol

You might check some of the HC Freshman and JV scores from this year. In two years HC will have an impact on this class...mark it. Freshman are undefeated & every game has been a blow out. JV lost 1 to Bell at their place however agenged the loss at home.

Sorry about the mis-spell on Maden. He deserves to have his name spelled correctly. I knew as soon as I hit reply it was wrong. HC is young but has some talented players. Brewer could be one of the better PG in the region before he is done. Massingale, Sergent & Colton again are young but should be solid. Sarages, Ely and Begley should play well for Harlan. It will also be interesting to see what Nolan brings at 6'4".

You may be right...this year...but I have a feeling the scale is starting to favor HC in the next few years to come.

Quit was not my words...lol. I still live in HC. Agree with the rest of you post. I have ideas on why HC has problems with covering kicks that goes back to middle school. What bothers me more than anything is not being able to get set and go on the snap of the football. The lack of rythm disabled HC and gave Pulaski that confidence to go for the jugular and they did just that. One thing I noticed with last year's team is there was a hug difference in week 1 and 2. Hopefully history will repeat.
