I have to agree that rain does favor the visiting team keeping fans away. But I tend to believe that it also favors the strong running team, if you dont have a running game then you are in bad shape:scared:, if your running game is powerful ie. big O line, fast, strong backs you should have the advantage.:thumb: "On any given day, any Team can be beaten".

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Gallatin pulls it out 26-24 last minute win.:thumb:

Not todays Doss program, but I based my pick on that which I have veiwed and some of the games they have already played, they are a very good football team. And no they have not posted any game stats some teams do this to keep others from knowing who, what, and how, I suppose, old school trick. We would send year old film to our opponents and never sent game stats, this was before the digital age mind you.:thumb:

Yes thank you very much for giving me the actual rule, and my scenario is based on what I saw in a College game also. The legs of the blocker hit the holder very well the blocker did block the football but the penalty was called and assessed against the blocking team. I was just curious as to the High School rule for my own knowledge. So do you think that if the kick is blocked but the legs of the blocker or body hit the back of the holder as he passes that, that constitutes a roughing penalty.

SC is 7-1 only dropping to Bell Co. and it was a big loss, but I see them bouncing back and Belfry underestimating them. To me that spells upset.:thumb:

I have been out of Coaching for just a few years OK maybe a decade But my question is; When kicking a field goal is the holder off limits. Can the defense play through the holder in an attempt to block the kick. High School rule please. :confused:

I see Beechwood (maybe just wishful thinking here), Belfry and John Hardin falling off the list this week.

I am going to go with North in this one I really liked what I saw last week although Western Hills is not a TC I still think the wingT spins North in this one. 31-19 North. Again Beautiful Stadium you all should be proud.:thumb:

It is good to keep discussion going, I dont think that TBandG meant any harm by this just wanting to keep people or re-excite people on here about both of these programs which are struggling this year. This kind of talk can be helpful to, to incite opportunity in your players who may be down at the moment, this gives players on both teams an opportunity to step up and shine and be rewarded for it. All players have to pull together in order for anyONE to standout, win or loose.:thumb:

Frankfort 48 - 12 Too many weapons, too much speed for Eminence to handle.

I would have to agree that #5 Sullivan should run wild and take Offensive Player and possibly MVP he does go both sides and is their Senior leader, But I see #22 Edens or Smith whatever # he wears possibly winning Defensive Player awards. For Bracken #40 Baker #25 Brumley up for Offensive player and #51 Brumley and #59 Poe for Deffensive player. I would highly suggest for Trimble not to go into this game overlooking the Bears they have given a couple of teams good games so work hard and stay focused.I'll go 36-18 again the Teams can decide who scores which:thumb: One more thing: "On any given day any team can be beaten"

I have to say that just in the last few years I have been watching the NCKC football and basketball programs. Almost all of the teams in this conference Henry,Carroll,Trimble,Eminence,Gallatin and Owen have all come a long long way with their respective Football programs to say that any 1 team is dominant in the NCKC is absolutely ridiculous, last year Trimble beat all except Gallatin in the regular season then turned around and beat them in the playoffs, this year they have lost to all of them and Henry is currently the top dog so to speak. But for a Team to say they are dominant they need to be the top dog year after year after year and none of you have been that so continue all your good work and loose your stupid egos and play some more football. Keep your programs strong and growing and we will see you all in the trenches.Oh and lets not forget that it is supposed to be all about the kids anyway.

Just wanted to say BEAUTIFUL New stadium just need the scoreboard, Great game North displayed awesome sportsmanship all in all good game and congrats to North 8-0

This was not unexpected I have been watching this Frankfort team and they are on track. # 9 Weaver is an awesome football player and if you kick to him or Tillman you deserve to get beat. There is such a thing as the squibb kick. Congrats to FHS I look for you all to give Beechwood a big scare this year. Finally a team that is playing like they want to win a Championship, Someone other than an NKY team WOW.Go Frankfort.

42-18 Grant wins this one, they have the depth and talent in this case and they are very well Coached not to say that Ludlow isnt. Just think the depth beats Ludlow this year.

I have to say that I found new respect for Carroll Co. a couple weeks ago, and that this could truly be one of the best games of the week around the NCKC. I wish sometimes I could be 2 places at once. But good luck to both teams, I'll say 35-32 final score winner oh do I have to pick one .......... yeah why not Carroll upsets Henry.

I'm sorry I guess they are North Central KY teams but they do still have to play NKY in the playoffs. And I would beg to argue that anyone of the boys I mentioned would be just as dominant as the ones you are giving if they where playing behind those lines, ie Beechwood, Bellevue etc. Just my opinion now.:thumb:

Since you want to include a QB or 2 there is one that everyone has overlooked and on any other team would probably be a #1 RB and he is currently 10th or so in 1A for rushing yards and TDs Trimble County's #5 Larry Sullivan. And what about Frankforts #9 Quan Weaver I think is his name, oh and 1 more please Tyrone Cooper of Eminence #5 in 1A 142 yrds per game come on, these teams have to play your NKY teams in the playoffs, so I think they deserve consderation. Just a thought.

Congrats to Frankfort this was an awesome display of in your face, fast paced, well Coached, smash mouth football. Big players and big plays made all difference. The players and Coaches of Frankfort did an awesome job of controlling every aspect of this contest.#9 for Frankfort put on an exhibition. All I can say though is give any 1A team 4 interior lineman breaking the 250lb mark and you better put on a show. The Raiders where totally outmaned. Good luck to both teams, 3 or 4 games left, play hard and keep digging.
