I see upset of the year here if TC wins, I did vote for the underdogs, but reality is they just dont have the weapons. I will keep my hopes up for TC if they can keep it close thru 3 quarters they may have a chance, and it could end up being a nail-biter. Good luck Raiders.

Knute you are absolutely correct he doesnt need anyones help on here, he is perfectly capable all by himself of Coaching that is why he is the Head Coach of TC. Yes it is very easy to Coach from the stands, no pressure, no stress, no worries you can see the whole game to. And yes other players probably do need to step up or be given the chance to step up, I dont know. I am just like all the rest of you here just giving my own opinion. No offense, I hope, I have never meant any harm, not by anything that I have ever said.:thumb:

First let me say that I am not sure that I would not use Sullivan #5 as QB but I can assure you he would never step foot on my Defensive side of the ball except to receive punts. I would maybe find a second QB that could throw, a primary passer not huge deep routes all the time but short quick outs, ins, dumps, screens...ie..to #5 free him up more, snap the ball to #5 every so often then to your second QB its Poynters job to find this person regardless of last name or likeability just play the kid that will help you open up the options. Keep your opponents guessing. I understand about missing lineman again Coaches job to find suitable replacements. Is this not true or am I way off base.I do not have all the answers for TC and I know that all the parents and others dont either but I do see a different game because I am loking through un-biased eyes. I have nothing to gain and nothing to loose. Just want to help fellow Coaches and friends out.:thumb:

1. I am not dogging anyone just stating what I see, and alot of others as well. 2. I am only making suggestions based on my veiw of the game I watched. 3. I can assure you I do not know it all, nor do I think "that no-one knows more than I do" either. 4. I dont Coach TC so cant tell you who should be at QB I am sure though as I have said before TC's Coach should know. Maybe all he has is #5 and he is doing a great job.:thumb:

Yeah its called the Heisman right and Tebow doesnt play one down of Defense ever. Amazing what a QB can produce for a team when his focus is one thing and one thing only, points.. Offense. Wow a QB with rushing stats equal to that of his opponents starting stud Tailback amazing a Coach cant see this and find a better way to utilize that assett. This kid #5 was all but exhausted by the 4th quarter going both ways he is the team, Right , Left Up the Middle he can run, stop letting him throw though, 3 interceptions again 4 th week in a row. But I am sure that his fatigue played a big role in at least 4 of 9 of those int's, give him a break on D get him off the feild bet his fatigue doesnt show in 4th.Maybe he wont make major mental errors if he's not stinking exhausted. His last TD he jogged in against their JV D.

Not sure but I can beat whatever Coach does it will be an exciting game. Both teams have some weapons. I think it will be decided at the end 35 - 32 ? :thumb:

Wow I can not believe that someone has the footballs to actually make this statement, on here even. I thought that all those people had gotten old and out of Football All todays Coaches care about are rosters, how many, how big, how fast, how much time, Oh I want to Coach here. Well to be honest so far this season I have had some bad luck but I see N.O. playing H.C. to the wire here although H.C. has not been scored on in 3 weeks they also havent played any major competition this will be a great one to see, so hoping my luck will change I am going with H.C. 42 - 24 big scores in second will be the undoing of North.

You are absolutely correct it is very hard to find receivers when your line or blocking backs can't slow down the defensive penetration. But TC has their QB 7 yards deep that gives him at least 2 seconds to determine, based on his read, who should be open or where he needs to go. I used to put my QB's on a 3 -1000 count the ball should be leaving their hands at 3 if not they should be moving out of the pocket and getting rid of the ball or making up ground. TC's QB is awesome at the running the ball part of the game ( built like a tailback, reacts like a tailback, must (want to) be a tailback).I would love this kid for my backfeild, running the ball, but no way as the primary passer. This is in no way saying that he could not be a good QB someday or that his Coaches arent doing the right thing. Knowing Coach Poynter to be a very capable Coach I am certain if there was another option he would utilize it, this is just my own perspective based on what I saw at a couple of TC's games this year and in no manner do I think that I know it all, there is always more to know or learn even at my age. :thumb:

Let me go on record here, I know exactly how long Coach Poynter has been in the buisness and how much success he has had especially since his arrival at Trimble County if I am not mistaken I think I even stated this in an earlier post of mine. But hey thanks for the reminder.

Not to start a new fued but this District is a 1A District right and Eminence competed in 8 man and where State Champions in 8 man, they have some superb talent this year. Gallatin is only 2 years old in Varsity but have a phenomenal Coach and some exceptional athletes as well. Bracken again only 2 years old but you have to start somewhere, would you suggest they be competeing against NCC and the likes, give them time to grow. Trimble is a tiny county school and has lost football and brought it back again, Poynter turned a 0-30 school into a district playoff team but that did not happen overnight the program had to be developed, and it is nice to see actual competitive games again. Frankfort yes is the dominant team here but again big city, small enrollment, but great gene pool.This year is looking like it truely could be any one of the top 4,s turn to take the District.The records I think stand now at. 1.Frankfort 3-1 1-0 2.Eminence 4-0 2-0 3.Gallatin 2-2 1-1 4.Trimble 1-3 0-2 5.Bracken 0-4 0-1 An Eminence win wouldnt that make them #1 and then the Frankfort vs. Eminence game would decide the #1 and I have to say that I have personnally enjoyed watching all of these teams play the last few years.:thumb:

You are closer than anyone else, I do believe. I would hope that Frankfort, will not be to brutal.

You are absolutely right and let me apologize if I offended anyone I was only defending my own statements. And now:thumb: back to the topic. I do still see Frankfort as being the team to beat having seen all of these teams play at least once this year, I would have to give a slite edge to Gallatin and Coach Browning but they will have to be careful of Eminence and their speed this week. Trimble I do believe will be the 4 in the district and the sleeper if they can come together and get back to believing in themselves and their Coach, They have lost 2 very close games and either of those should or could have been W's for them. Let me explain why I had responded the way that I did to this comment, you TBaG have on several occasions responded to post's of mine using that same comment on each occasion, so I have to say that I have gotten sick of hearing it. Although I am a parent I do not have a son on any of the teams that I discuss. The Only son I have played both High School and Collegiate Football and Basketball D1, did you by any chance, I did play and Coach both at all levels of the game have you. So the rose colored glasses thing became insulting to me being a parent that is, and as a Coach. I have found that sometimes the parents see things better than even the Coaches do problem is most Coaches are too egotistical to listen, truely listen, to a parent.And some are so bad they wont even listen to their own peirs.NOT saying that anyone on here should listen to everything that is said by anyone on here.:thumb:

Thank you I wasnt sure so '06 Frankfort won the District but Danville was still there and then '07 Frankfort won again and Danville was gone now '08 we will see :thumb:
