First of all the Oldhams have more money and way bigger numbers at all 3 schools to choose from all teams should be placed in districts where they can be competitive period. OCHS-4A South-3A North-2A little Trimble last I saw and I think always has been a 1A school Football has got it right, lets apply the same in all of the Big 3 Baseball, Basketball & Football don't you think.

I do understand that numbers thing but not the case here. I am mostly speaking of 8th graders who could'nt compete in their Middle school games, playing freshman ball over more talented Freshman. And certain 8th and 9th graders playing JV and Varsity ball over more talented freshman, sophomores and even juniors.:thumb:

I had been looking for this Thread glad I found it, Have to agree after last season with Sullivan being all A receiver why move him to QB 1.he's a lefty and to short 5'8" / 5'9" maybe 2. Zero 0 exp. behind center 3. Where's the future in him (senior). Leave him where he is best and most effective WR. As far as the rest speedsters Micheal Edens and Aunner Posses showed awesome promise at TB and WR. Jordan Hunt is a beast and should be heavily utilized in this years running game. QB ? Jordan Blanton started JV looked very sound and has a future (Freshman) already 5'9" still growing and has the time behind center. I think that TC should fair well the returning junior class is awesome from what I saw last year, they have some very strong underclassmen who should be developed thru the JV program before they are thrown into the Varsity arena one huge mistake TC makes every year is bringing up younger (8th graders/9th graders) that truly are not fundamentally or even mentally prepared for the JV much less the varsity level competition, but I do wish Coach Lauster and the Raiders the best.

I was at Grant last year for the pre season scrimmages that facility is amazing and having the staff and focus that each of them has GC should do well, dont make a stupid mistake and loose or get rid of an asset like Coach Davis and his Crew. Good luck GC and Coach Davis :thumb:

;)With the loss of 14 seniors Raider football has much to do to rebuild, a possible starting point may be the 10-12 Freshman that were on the roster last year.If I were coach P, I would be searching the halls for lineman, with speedsters like Micheal Edens, Blake Renfro,Aunner Posses and Last years #1 receiver Larry Sullivan all returning I'de be looking to protect whoever you plan on putting behind center at least give him enough time to find a receiver.Freshman QB Jordan Blanton who will be a Sophomore should be a good starting point for the future he looked very fundamentally sound as last years JV starter.With Jordan Hunt in the backfeild to power the ball up the middle it should keep opponents guessing all season long and maybe next year doesnt seem so bleek after that great loss of Seniors.
