Big Fan Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Does anyone else think that it is ridiculous that Trimble County is stuck with all of the Oldhams in the Districts? They are way out of their league and it is so not fair.
Lefty6 Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Does anyone else think that it is ridiculous that Trimble County is stuck with all of the Oldhams in the Districts? HDE Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 It looks like Trimble and Oldham border each other, and districts are based on geography. If they can't compete, Trimble could always try merge with Oldham or some other county.
JARS_08_12 Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 First of all the Oldhams have more money and way bigger numbers at all 3 schools to choose from all teams should be placed in districts where they can be competitive period. OCHS-4A South-3A North-2A little Trimble last I saw and I think always has been a 1A school Football has got it right, lets apply the same in all of the Big 3 Baseball, Basketball & Football don't you think.

I guess it's easy to complain about geography...it can't argue back!:sssh:

Didn't you participate in your region's "all-A" tournament? How did you do in that?

The question was asked, but never answered so far, what did Trimble do in the All "A" Classic tourney? Oh, they lost to WV 6-3 in the first round..... Oh well......

All of the "A" schools play in districts and regions with the "big " schools .The All A tourney is there for some of them to have a chance .Some of the small schools are able to compete with the teams in the district .I guess you just have to try to get better .JMO
