2008 Grant County

Featured Replies

What does Grant County need to do to improve in 2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

The braves coming off there first winning season in school history should look to improve on that and work toward making and winning in the playoffs. They lost some valuable talent at WR and on the offensive line, and the loss of Randy Morris at running back will be tough to replace. They do return several guys on defense and they return their QB and TB as well.

They have a great group of seniors and have been putting the time in the weight room this off season. They will see the dividends in their hard work hopefully pay off come this fall. I wish the boys the best and they will go as far as their seniors want to take them.

The Braves should have a year for the record books at G.C. The pieces are all there. We'll see if the Braves can live up to their potential.

The following players should all be towards the top in 5A at their positions, if not its a loss.

Joe Soden- QB

Dillon Pelfrey- TB/DB

Josh Rump- LB

Justin Mertz- WR/DB

K.J. Little- DE

I hope the Braves commit themselves in the summer and shut everyone up that says you can't win at Grant County. This should be the year to sets the stage for years to come. (A lot of weapons growing in the Middle School)

Things are really happening at G.C.H.S. I hope the new administration doesn't slow down the progress Coach Davis and his dedicated staff have started.

Good luck to Coach Davis and the Braves!

LONG LIVE THE STRAWBERRY!!!

The Braves are looking good for next year. They have great senior leadership and those seniors can flat out play some football.:ylsuper:

Two questions for the Grant Co. faithful, what type of offense does Coach Davis run and what are the school colors. Thanks in advance!!

Navy and gold. Gun Veer to multipul

This should be a good year for Grant County! Grant County has several talented football players returning this year to "Finish the Game". Looking forward to seeing how the Braves do this year!!

GO BLUE AND GOLD!!!!

I was at Grant last year for the pre season scrimmages that facility is amazing and having the staff and focus that each of them has GC should do well, dont make a stupid mistake and loose or get rid of an asset like Coach Davis and his Crew. Good luck GC and Coach Davis :thumb:

If you say vegas gold then you know the MS.
