  1. How has Rogers been doing since cleared to play? I know he works very hard so I would think his conditioning is okay.
  2. There were three technicals called. The first for a player's words to a ref after a call, the second for a blatant elbow thrown from a different player, and the third was the ejection. This was also a different player who pushed and spoke selective words to an FC player. This is fact because I saw it and the FC player that it happened to told me exactly what was said from the kid after he was shoved by this same player. Franklin County stayed composed after some hard fouls and they can take that because you know a team is frustrated when they are being dominated. But when cheap shots play in, and things are going on after the whistle, the refs have to get control of the game so no one is hurt going into the region. Technicals needed to be called to get control of it and FC was more composed and did not deserve any technicals from what I saw. All the technicals called were deserved. I do not see how Western Hills can complain so much about the refs when they clearly started to foul more often, and harder as the lead stretched out. This goes to that thread about foul disparity. The foul count is going to be much different if one team is fouling way more than another. People can no way seriously think that the refs gave Franklin County the game unless they live in their own fantasy bubble (which could be likely). Also, the kid ejected made the all-tournament team with ZERO points and TWO assists in the championship game. How do the voters put him on it and not Satterwhite who had a good first round game and finished the championship without technicals or ejection. Maybe he wasn't impressive in the finals but he is much more deserving of the award.
  3. I would bet I was closer than you and when a kid shoves another player and says probably the worst word you can say then he should be thrown out.
  4. Does anyone know if the draw will be broadcasted on the radio?
  5. Is this Prince's younger brother and is he a freshman?
  6. So Boone is ranked higher than #31 in the rivals rankings?
  7. WOW. I don't see how you are even trying to win if you only shoot 4 times in a half!!!
  8. FCHS also shot poorly, but FHS had a good gameplan.
  9. This is a great question. I think it will be impossible to find someone to act as Dale. I know of no one even close to like Dale on earth.
  10. Very good news for GRC! I hope to see this team with him at RUPP!!!
  11. These are definitely the top 10 teams right now, even though you could maybe switch it around a little. I wouldn't take any of these teams out of the top 10 and put in another team.
  12. It should shape up to be a good season!
  13. Yeah I change my mind. I forgot about the AP poll.
  14. Phares and Sanford should be the favorites, but I think Charles Ashford has a good shot. If not for Bryan Stations late slip they have had in the season he would have an even better chance.
  15. No one said Manual didn't struggle with injuries.:idunno:
  16. I think the poll that has been most consistent is BGP's.
  17. http://www.kentucky.com/232/story/703915.html The validity of this poll is lost when you see Holmes at 12 and Franklin County 13. FC beats two top 20 teams, GRC and Anderson County, and drops two spots. Holmes at 12????
  18. I know student sections are the worst at talking trash to players and it happens everywhere. I've talked to the FC players about it and they like when other teams and students talk to them because they don't talk back, but just shut teams up with their play.
  19. He reacted to a call with explicit words to which the FC crowd was yelling about. He turned around to the crowd and told them to come on the court and see what happens.
  20. Penny scored the majority of his points late in the second half in an effort to get Anderson back in it. He shot the ball every possession down the stretch and threw in some wild shots banking in some jumpers from the top of the key and a three. I think AC will win the 8th but if they are upset it will be because they depend on Penny too much and no one else steps up. Meyer had a big first quarter and AC made adjustments to keep him from scoring much the rest of the game. The difference is where Meyer ran the point the rest of the game and created for other people who can hit shots. FC is capable of a deep run because they are so balanced and have lots of guys who can hit shots. When you work hard to shut down one thing (face guarding Meyer the whole game), someone else hurts you.
  21. Obviously there is debate if people are arguing.
  22. Meyer's percentage stats are very similiar to Riley. 57% 2pt fg, 45% 3pt fg, 50% overall fg.
  23. IF Anderson's big men are better, FC's are at least good enough to match up to them. Franklin's guards are better than AC's by A LOT. FC wins this 66-54.
