There is so many teams and players out there that we haven't seen, but who are the good ones that get playing time? Aaron Watts, McCeary Central is proabley the best I have seen. Not sure what kind of a year he is having, but it would be hard to find someone that shoots better than him. IMO

If you leave him open Holmes' PG has to be in the discussion.

No way you're leaving off the top pure shooter in the state in Jacob Jenkins. You can debate this a thousand different ways, but Jenkins is at the top of the list.

I think that freethrow % tell alot, you should be able to hit at least 75% FTs if you are a good shooter. I wish that all the teams had to turn in thier stats to be posted at KHSAA.

Jonathan Ferguson is the best shooter in the state - it doesn't matter if you guard him or leave him open. I would put him up against anyone and he has over 3,000 points to back me up.

Jenkins is an excellent shooter and most definately one of the top. Watts is the guy most likey to turn out to be like Chris Lofton. I have never seen Ferguson but assume he is the real deal.

He's something of an unknown in the state, but Tyler Woods at Garrard County is an outstanding three-point shooter. I think he shoots at around 42%. His biggest problem is getting open against really physical defense - something that can't happen too much because of the Garrard style of offense. If you leave him open, he'll make shots all day.

At 6'4, a quick release, perfect form, and elecating on shots, Jenkins is the best pure periemter player to come around these parts in awhile. His game against Iroquois where he's getting back to form was proof. Boxing and chasing does slow him down. I am convinced that had he stayed healthy and not missed 19 games, he would have continued to torch the comp just as he had all summer and fall. He left no doubt Tuesday.

I see he has an offer from Virginia Tech, is that offer still available, and is he considering it?

DuPont Manual in Louisville. He's actually missed several games this season due to injury, I believe. I know he didn't play much at Catholic's holiday tournament.

I've never seen Jenkins play, but I would have to see it to believe it if he's better than Ferguson.

Jenkins hasn't been healthy until the last game and is just now practicing in full for the first time since early December. Missed nearly 20 games. Some college is going to end up with a big time scorer and shooter. Its good to see him back in form.
