In watching Ferguson play some this year and in AAU I would say he takes more bad shots than Ethan Faulkner. Hes a great shooter and takes some heat checks IMO.

 

If he is taking the shot it cant be to bad with the results he gets.:sssh:

Ferguson and Meyer are the top 2 I have seen this year. I have seen Hood, Jenkins, Watts, Riley, Euton, and Tate Cox just to name a few. But Ferg and Barrett stick out to me in this arguement. Also unlike other people on this site that have multiple user names and try to argue for their players or kids that they are the best without any overall proof this year, I will say that I am a Franklin County fan and alumni so yes I am a little bias on my selection here. If you are wondering and cant decide if I am talking about you, here is a hint I am not talking about anyone that is a fan of any 11th or 16th region team.

Jenkins didn't commit early. He has his choice of schools, and from what the coaches are saying, UK could be where he ends up. Let things play out. Aren't you happy a talented young player has made a recovery and opportunities to play at the next level. I would hope no player endures missing as much of a senior year as he has.

You are incorrect sir. I know you've been a strong negative oveture of Jenkins. The good news is that his options continue to swell. And yes, UK has become an option along with a few others. Enjoy the season.

I've seen every player mentioned play. Jonathon Ferguson is the best shooter in the state, period. There are alot of other good shooters out there, but he does it better than anyone and in variety of ways. He is also the best scorer in the state, IMO.

 

Some people are question his shot selection. He is a scorer. His role on his team is to score, and his numbers support that. You will get a bad shot or two out of a player when you rely on him to score over 20 a game. Everyone takes bad shots, but Ferg probably hits 45-50% of the bad shots he takes. Over his 5 year varsity career, his FG% is almost 60%. I'll take that out of anyone.
