They can't play up. Have heard many people say, "I don't know why they don't play in 2A where they belong." Do you know how asinine that statement is. They are playing where their enrollment dictates. Do you think they like beating teams by 50+ pts?

Wouldn't disagree with multitude of reasons; however, when the leader (QB) of the team is allowed to do what he does (and I won't drag all issues up here for fear of those who claim we shouldn't talk about a teenager on these threads in a derogatory manner), this leads to dissension among the ranks. Spritzky could have controlled this and didn't. Thus, the attitude of the whole team has gone down hill (not that it was anything great to begin with). I guarantee this wouldn't have happened at a number of better programs in the area i.e. HHS, CCH, BW to name a few. There is a quite a bit of talent at the school, so I wouldn't blame it on not having talent.

He wouldn't do as well as Highlands but he would far exceed what goes on there now! Dixie's main problem is attitude. Plain and simple. And that comes from the top.

So how do you suggest we remedy this situation? More handouts? That obviously hasn't worked.

I would have to disagree with that just as VOR did in that thread your refering to. HHS would have beat them by 28 at least.

NCC would be lucky to compete with HHS 1 out of every ten years. So, it wouldn't be beneficial to either.

I agree it's with the coaches as well as the parents. He gets away with way too many things. Hard to root for someone that doesn't do it right.
