You can call it what you want but there is a reason Highlands scrimmages Trinity. The players are there to win, for sure, and Dale is there preparing the team for the upcoming season. Dale is there to work on the things that needs worked on. Hmm, makes me wonder? Scott County gets blown out in Ft. Thomas, then plays Trinity down to the final few minutes in the state game. So, was Trinity really that much better than the Birds? Did Scott County improve that much in so little time, I don't think so. The haters can call it what they want, but T blowing H out in the scrimmage was just Dale doing his thing.( It seems to be working.) :popcorn:

I would venture to say that MOST coaches would coach just to be a part of the programs that they are involved in. Does anyone really think that they could get Dale away from HHS by offering tons of money? I don't think so. Dale will eventually graduate from Highlands, but it won't be for money. When his time comes to leave, it will be for a recliner and TV, nothing else.

Highlands was looking for games to fill their football schedule , NCC wasn't knocking down the door to get on the schedule. Don't worry Highlands filled that void with the team from Florida. :lol2:

Nothing blah, blah , about it. Taking nothing away from NCC , Highlands football program is light years ahead of NCC right now. Obviously it's not the 60's and 70's anymore. Most of Highlands other sports teams are average and not near the football program. Coach Mueller only plays games and / or scrimmages that will help his team prepare for the playoffs. NCC would not be one of those teams. Respectfully, take a look at Highlands football schedule , then tell me if NCC belongs on that schedule. IMO, I don't think so.

I didn't hear much about Carmel Indiana football, so I dug up their 2012 schedule, they are no cupcake. Trinity charged regular season prices at their home scrimmage the year before!! Looks like we have a HHS hater here. Do some research before posting.

Max Preps would argue that since St. X was ranked # 16 in the country that year.(2009) Thet got knocked out of the playoffs by Elder, a team that they beat earlier that seasn. As far as another Highlands thread ,HHS is on the rocks schedule in 2013. :sssh:

The only thing I bait is a fish hook. Just wondering when Cardinals Fan is going to start the "Cards are going to beat you up" stuff, like last year.Ryle has a nice program , but Trinity is a lot better match up for Colerain. Should be a great game. My views are my views and should not be taken as views of all Highlands fans. Rumor has it that Colerain loses some nice players to graduation, but Trinity loses more.

I'm not sure what you are looking for, maybe accolades for Colerain to play Trinity instead of Ryle? For sure the GCL in Cincy is the cream of the crop, which Colerain isn't a part of.

I believe that was the year(09) that Cincy X destroyed Lou. X (and Trinity for that matter). Seems like SOME Lou. X fans have a very selective memory when it comes to 09 football. :lol:

Highlands schedule is complete now, except for replacing the Boyle game, right? A program that doesn't know if they have 10 or 11 games scheduled, what's up with that? Smells fishy to me . :popcorn:

Highlands playing BG in 13, would be just winning or losing to another KY team. (We often hear how "others" think about Ky high school football.) Playing a 2A state title team from Florida would have the whole NKY area "rocking" , even the haters might jump on the bandwagon. Win or lose it would show just how far this HHS program has come. Talk about national exposier?
