Wouldn't the talent pool determine how many players need to go both ways,if any ?

Obviously I'm not a Scott County fan but here is my scoop. Running backs stats from last year /returning starters Dumphord 1209 yards/20td's Edwards 677 yards /7td's Wide Reciever stat from last year Daniel 48 catches 971 yards 9 TD'S (BURNER) Last year 14-1 , only loss to Trinity in state finals. Defensively they have 2 great D lineman and one great DE.

A chance, yes, but probably won't win it. Unless Trinity implodes, the Rocks take 6A. Even if Scott Co. beats the Birds, it does not figure into the state title equation of either team.

Who would you like to see win state if Boyle doesn't ? Anybody but Highlands?

You definitely will face bigger O and D lines than HHS. You are smart being cautious.

Indy Cathedral was the only team on T's schedule that had the lead at halftime at Trinity. Yes, IC lost the game , just sayin thats why they play the game. I don't know what players they are returning, but last year they were state champs, if that means anything. This year is @ Indy, so home field couldn't hurt their chances. I took a look at Moellers schedule and it looks pretty impressive If they can win most of their games. Brentwood Acadamy got knocked out of the playoffs in round 2 in Tn. last year. (I think). My memory is going fast.

I checked out IHIGH.COM, didn't see it listed anywhere.

Highlands just got finished seeing how they stack up against arguably the best team in the country.(Trinity)The kids get the feel of the playoffs every year.Five state titles in a row.Why does Highlands have to cross the river to play at UC or Nippert? Trinity is a better place to play in my opinion. I like it when you insinuate that Dale is ducking Colerain, maybe Dale doesn't schedule Colerain because they are sub- par program.

..............and who is your choice for matching up with the Birds. HHS already has Trinity and Elder on their schedule?

I didn't know Colerain was a regional power. Is it the same Colerain team that has one state title in school history? Haven't heard much from Colerain since Highlands went to the platoon system. :popcorn:

So your upset that a Trinity player is getting a lot of offers? Measurements don't mean squat, if you don't have everything else to go with it.

I have nothing against X , I'm only a T fan when they play out of state teams.Trinity's fans , coaches and players should think that nobody can beat them, that's what it is all about. I really don't care who wins state in 6A in Ky. It's going to be a long winter for you if you have a reaction when somebody praises the players or the team or coaches at Trinity.It's a long season and anything can happen throughout the year. I'm not saying that X can't beat T, but I did see T the last two years and it didn't look like they graduated the entire O line. When people say good things about T it is not to disrespect X. Don't take things so personal. I hope the Tigers do well this season, and hope they stay injury free.
