Urban has abig chore ahead of him to get Quick to sign at Ohio State. I'm thinking Quick would want to stay close to home, in a warm climate setting, but that's just my opinion.I'am thinking Alabama, but that' just my opinion.

I was at the scrimmage for the first half. I had to leave because I had some minor health issues,(please don't try to be cute), I spent some time at urgent care this morning. I still got in my car and drove 45 minutes to watch and support the Birds.Every game is a road trip for me. We had T fans in the row in front of us and they were telling us about the certain players. Very classy people and we had a lot of fun watching the game with them. The 13 ranking in the preseason polls are inaccurate for Trinity. If there is a better team in the country, I would like to see them. My Birds played hard and I'm sure they will be ready for Boyle next week.

I hope you and everyone you know to have safe travels to and from the fort. Get your picture taken wearing that shirt and hat with the HHS mascot and the HHS cheerleaders. :thumb:

I heard your going to have a Highlands hat , after the game will you be wearing that hat with your Boyle County shirt? If Boyle beats Highlands it just means that Boyle played better on that given night, and yes HHS will learn from it. Check out the Cov-cath score from the regular season then look at the playoff score vs Cov-Cath in the playoffs 2011.HHS learns quickly !!

Scrimmages are designed to find out what your team needs to work on. From the score of this scrimmage,Boyle learned nothing.I guess Boyle will see what to work after next Friday night. Highlands scrimmages Trinity for a reason, and Highlands weaknesses will be exposed for sure tonight,same as Trinity.The Birds will work on the exposed weaknesses and will be better prepared for next weeks game with Boyle . I'm not saying Boyle will lose to HHS, but I'm positive the Birds will haved learnd more about their team from their scrimmage than Boyle did from their scrimmage.

If anybody was scouting the Trinity and Highlands scrimmage last year were not getting much information.The Birds only threw the ball two times and that was late in the 4th quarter. With a D1 QB (Towles) and a D1 WR (Sheehan), the Birds were working on the running game, it was obvious. The Birds had several players on the O line that were not playing due to injury. That could be the reason for not throwing the ball, to give other O lineman the experience, or to give starting O line players more time to heal. If someone was scouting that scrimmage, they went back to their team and said Highlands will run the ball 90% of the time. I'm sure that scout looked foolish, after Sheehan caught those 50 and 60 yard bombs during the regular season, on a regular basis.

How many T fans from BGP are planning to attend the scrimmage in the fort?

How often does a high school coach point the D1 recruiters at their school to persue a D1 player in another rival school? I bet it doesn't happen very often, if at all. Your post speaks volumes of the kind of person and coach that you are. I have never met you and wouldn't know you if I bumped into you, but your my kind of coach and Ballard is fortunate to have you . Have a great season.
