I don' quite understand where you are going with this. I think its a great hire. Coach Lewis is a great coach and will do a great job.

What happened to Adrian Allen? I played against him. Very talented receiver.

I would not have wanted to play for anyone else other than Tom Duffy. I know he isn't liked by many but he taught me so much more than football. Still talk to him to this day. Great coach, great guy.

Scribe- I can't say. It seems I have heard that name before but all they said on the radio was he is coming from McLean County C.C- again I really don't know. Tried to look up McLean County football and couldn't find anything. He is scheduled to be on a local sports radio show tomorrow. If these questions are answered I'll post them.

Jason Morris was named the new offensive coordinator at Henderson County. He was the head coach at McLean County High School. The Courgars were 0-10 in Coach Morris's only season.

I like it the way it is. I coach in Indiana now and I'm not a fan of our playoff system. Everybody gets in and its a blind draw. I also dislike the whole conference schedule that we have

Please keep Union County's Softball team in your thoughts. They were involved in a wreck on their way to a game yesterday and the bus turned over. There were 28 people on board and 25 of them were admitted to the hospital. The local newspaper said all but one have been released. Non of the the injuries seem to be life threatening.

Is Newport Central Catholic down this year? They were really good last year. The game with them and Henderson County in the State tournament was really good.

Offensively than where a spread/flexbone team. Defensively they were mostly a 3-4 team but got in some 4 down linemen

It's a good hire. He will do a good job. I just hope that he opens the offense up a little. He is a Defensive guy so i'm guessing he is going to hire an OC and give him total control of the O.

It was pretty thin to begin with. Hopefully Boston stays and a couple others.

Lewis has 100 coaching wins in his career between Reitz and Wheelersburg (Ohio) High School. He replaced John Hart at Reitz in 2008. He is 53-11 at Reitz. Lewis won a state title in 2008, and also has two regional crowns and three sectional titles at Reitz
