  1. Home according to the website they will have both games today. wsonradio.com will have they Henderson County game tomorrow. I don't know about the Webster County/ Madisonville game.
  2. Not really. I think Henderson will be able to pull away and rest the starters, but I don't like how they split the brackets. I feel like they could moved the girls and had games all day for the boys and Semi's tomorrow and championship Tuesday.
  3. Things finally get under way at Union County today. Hopkinsville and Caldwell County get things started at 2. University Heights and Trigg County play the second game. Henderson County and Crittenden County play the first game tomorrow at 6, followed by Madisonville and Webster County
  4. Final from the 2nd Region tournament at Crittenden County high school. DeAsia Outlaw led the way for the Lady Colonels with 22 points. Kacie Wallace chipped in with 13. The Lady Colonels move on to the semi finals where they will play the Madisonville Lady Maroons (19-9). Henderson County beat the Lady Maroons 55-18 back on January 23 in Henderson.
  5. Henderson County leads Crittenden County 46-9. DeAsia Outlaw has 14 points. Kacie Wallace has 11.
  6. Henderson County leads Crittenden County 23-2 after one quarter. Region player of the Year DeAsia Outlaw has 7 points. Henderson County has forced 11 Lady Rocket turnovers.
  7. This is the plan for the 2nd region girls and boys region tournaments incase of bad weather.
  8. Emmitt, I'm not punching the Trojans ticket into the finals. I know Coach Newton personally and root on his teams when they aren't playing Henderson. I disagree with your picks of Madisonville and Hoptown but thats your opinion and I respect it. I can certainly see Hoptown winning it but I think Henderson finally gets over the hump and heads back to Rupp. I also believe the winner of the Madville/Webster will be playing next Tuesday.
  9. Shouldn't, but thats why you play the game. Webster County and Madisonville are playing really well and UHA is decent even though they lost one of their best players with a knee injury.
  10. I agree RockNation. I have had to the privilege of sitting with Cov and when he started talking about D I was in aw. The guy is very football smart and needs to be head coach somewhere.
  11. Coach Newton from Webster County has to be happy.
  12. Games played at Crittenden County high school March 2nd Lyon County vs Hopkins County Central 6:00 pm University Heights vs Webster County 7:45 pm March 3rd Madisonville vs Christian County 6:00 pm Henderson County vs Crittenden County 7:45 pm
  13. Games at Union County high school March 4th Hopkinksville vs Caldwell County 6 pm Henderson County vs Crittenden County 7:45 pm March 5th Madisonville vs Webster County 6 pm Trigg County vs University Heights 7:45 pm
  14. Final. David Simmons scores 20 of his team high 22 in the second half to lead the Colonels to the 6th District championship. Mason Roland scored 23 for the Trojans. Both teams will play in the 2nd region tournament next week at Union County High School.
  15. Final from yesterday's John Hardin Valentines Day shoutout. Kacie Wallace had 20 points and DeAsia Outlaw had a double double with 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Lady Colonels. HC (23-2) back in action tomorrow night at Owensboro Cstholic (19-9).
  16. Final from Colonel gym. David Simmons leads the way for the Colonels with 27 points. D.J. Washington chipped in with 16. Jon Stubblefield led the Trojans with 24 points. Mason Roland had 17. Colonels win the bye into the District Championship game and an automatic birth into the Regional tournament. The Colonels are back in action next Thursday at home against Owensboro (23-2).
  17. Colonels have brutal schedule to close out the season. Webster County friday night, Owensboro at home next Thursday and at Louisville Trinity next Friday night.
  18. Eli Wright had 20 for the Eagles. Colonels (24-3) host Webster County (23-4) Friday night for the #1 seed in the district tournament and automatic bid into the Regional tournament.
  19. Coach Tyler Smithhart and the Colonels (23-3) head down the Audubon Parkway to Owensboro to take on Coach Steve Barker and the Eagles (13-11). Eli Wright vs David Simmons should be fun to watch. This game is a great one just about every year.
  20. Henderson County beat Dupont Manual for the second time this season 48-44. Henderson County was without their two starting post players. Very impressive win for the Lady Colonels. DeAsia Outlaw was their leading scoring with 17 I believe.
  21. Final from Evansville on Friday night. Colonels had four players with double digit scoring. David Simmons 18, Brady Norman 17, Bryce Crowley 11 and DJ Washington 10. Colonels next game is a big district game next Friday night against Webster County (18-1) in Dixon. Should be a great game.
  22. Graves had Hoptown down 15 (sound familiar?) and Hoptown came back and won. Hoptown is going to be a tough out in the region. I want the Colonels to win the region but it's going to be tough. The 8th district has won the region 11 years in a row and Hopkinsville has won the last three. Hopefully the Colonels can stay healthy and break both streaks.
