Final from Morganfield. Lady Colonels play again Friday at home against 2nd region foe Madisonville (10-5). Madisonville is coached by Brent Gibson, former Colonel and son of Lady colonel assistant coach Phil Gibson.

Final from Henderson. Bryce Crowley set a school record with 8 three pointers. He led the Colonels with 26. David Simmons had 20 and Brady Norman had 16. The colonels revenged their only loss to a Kentucky team with the win. Colonels play again Friday at Evansville North (5-7)

Final from Henderson. Lady Colonels hit 8 3 pointers and force 29 turnovers. Callie Francis led the Lady Colonels with 14 points. Kacie Wallace & Maci Brown with 13 points. DeAsia Outlaw with 11. Lady Colonels travel to Union County Tuesday night for a district contest in their next contest.

Simmons has to stop fouling out. I believe he fouled out against either Henry Clay or Dupont Manual up in Lexington. If i remember right he fouled out last year in the regional with the game close and then when he went out Hoptown pulled away. If Henderson County wants to get over the hump and win the region they need Simmons to stay on the court.

New district alignment causes McCracken to come back here back to back years.

Final from Henderson. Henderson improves to 13-1 and locks up number 1 seed in 6th district tournament and automatic bid into 2nd region tournament.

I'll be the first to admit, I didn't give the Colonels a chance tonight. i knew David Simmons was good but my lord, and its just not him Crowley, Norman and Washington are really good players. Cant wait for the showdown against Hoptown. Great win by Coach Smithhart and the gang.
