I can see that happening, but staying healthy is a concern for all involved. There are question marks with all teams as well as solid starters coming back. I think it's going to be a matter of who you play and when. All 5 might have Jekyll and Hyde weeks.

St. X will win but not by as many as some people think. Just a scrimmage and the first 1 at that so I look for sloppy play on both sides from time to time. SK's D has to replace the whole d-line but has a couple strong linebackers and a corner that if he were 6ft he'd be going D1 somewhere. I am interested in seeing how far they've come and how far they have to go.

If Kuntz goes for 2000 this year early indications are Huesman will have a record breaking year. If calculations are correct he's caught 22 TD'S so far in 7 on 7. Looking forward to the boys putting pads on to see the real thing.

Not sure I see any sense in moving a kid out of his school for his senior year (academically as well as athletically). If it HAD to be done by the parents that's understandable, but the kid drives now and it's not like Dixie and Beechwood are that far apart. Can't fathom a player wanting to transfer from a place he's been starting at for 3 yrs just to get a chance at a ring in what very well could be a back-up roll.

Wasn't there, but from what I understand Huesman and Swanson could be difference makers this year with their receiving capabilities as long as Kuntz has time and learns from last year. Brenan needs to become more of a vocal leader and the sky might be the limit for that kid!!!

Heard the West only had 23 at their last practice. That's too bad. A lot of kids know what a priviledge this is and were anticipating playing...feel for all who actually wanted to play.

not quite sure who he/she is, but as far as I know nothing has been released about who is playing. Not even the lunch ladies have said anything!

SK will send 4 to the game, Derek Mills, Tate Huesman, Colin Patrick and Trey Pinkelton. To comply with this thread I am guessing that Mills and Patrick have a chance to start the game. Congrats to all 4 and everyone invited tho. Even if some people think this is not THE best in NKY it is still quite an accomplishment!! Lace them up and have an OUTSTANDING time at your last H.S. football game boys!

Congrats to the young man!!! Very impressive and I hope he has a stellar career at UK that starts the moment he steps on the practice field! All of NKY football should have a smile on their collective faces with this!

He and his wife have a new-born and she was presented an opportunity in her career field that's too good for them to pass on. From what I understand it's only for next year, but don't quote me. And yes, Marksberry got all new weights and equiptment donated for the fieldhouse. It is a top notch facility.

If Kuntz gets time, he has a very nice group of receivers to throw the ball to. The kid does have a cannon on his right shoulder just needs to keep his uniform clean for a couple of quarters for the confidence to match the potential!!

Totally agree...lose a little off the line that didn't play as a unit anyway, plus they have most of the skilled position players back. Lose alot that was on a solid "D", but Bowling should be 1 of the best LB's in the area and Landrum, Krallman should compliment well. Replacing "D" line might be an issue. What Mills did might take 2-3!

I know that SK/Marksberry's policy is that the player has to start 1 phase of the game at the varsity level. From what I understand that includes being on the "hands" team if that happens to be the case throughout the year, extra point attempts, every aspect.

Got an idea who you are talking about and it ain't gonna happen...Seen him play early in the summer and was raining from all over!! Too bad for The 'Neers, without a doubt would have been 1 of the best percentage-wise shooters in the region and would have complimented Chambers/Sampson big time!

Highlands can win (albeit they might have to keep the starters in for more than a half) without Towels. If Hightchew goes down for NCC they have more serious issues in my opinion.

Don't think anyone said anything that could be thought of as "hating", but everyone has heard a story or 2 of what happened (and in 1 case again) so speculation is the obvious. If he plays in the game I give him a HUGE congrats and I hope he performs well. I'm sure everyone would like to see NKY represented and represented well!!!
