Extremely surprised Georgetown hasn't been hitting NKY hard with their new OC. Figured that was their "IN" to this area.

Huesman from Simon Kenton visited Wittenberg, believe they're in his top choices. Ohio Dominican showed interest also, haven't heard how he feels about that one tho. Swanson has received interest from several, but have not heard where, if any, he is leaning.

Notice this thread has been dormant for awhile, any more to report? I know at least 1 from SK has narrowed his choices down to 3 and will announce sometime soon. I know most small schools won't send their finaincial packages out til mid to late March unless you've been in their sights for awhile. Has to be more kids commit to the smaller schools than what's been announced in here so far!

Coaches can send up to 5 from their respective schools and my guess, these will be the ones from Simon Kenton.

Talked to Swans in after the game and he said he was on the turf when someone deliberately jacked his knee up...what a pathetic, cowardly, piece of crap move to do to anyone! That useless pile needs to be suspended from ALL sports! What a low life!

Can someone explain to me why everyone is assuming SK deliberately went looking for 1A and 2A schools to fill their schedule? 2 years ago they had 3 games to fill because Scott, Conner and Cooper did not want to continue games with them foe whatever reason. When you have to fill 1/3 of your schedule you take whomever will play you. The beginning of the year Death Valley Bowl in Lincoln Co. required a 2 year commitment and there was absolutely no way SK had any control over participants/opponents. To my knowledge they didn't pick their opponent in the Cross Town Shootout. NCC has been on the schedule for at least 4 years. When you're limited time wise to fill your schedule, you play whoever can play you i.e. Pulaski Co, Iron ton etc.

Don't think Scott Co will win by 50 again but they will win....42-14

No possible way that time out was called in enough time! Home field has it's advantages!

If memory serves, neither D could stop the other and i expect the same. Last one with the ball wins. Turnovers and time of possession are going to be critical! Can't go against my boys, 35-34 SK, and this time they stop the 2 pt. conversation.. Good luck to both, play hard and come out healthy! Expect another GREAT game!

I know Swanson. Huesman, Bowling and Racke have been all over the place. Only smaller schools that I know of. Huesman is visiting Ohio Dominican tomorrow. A couple of them plus a few Jrs have been to Mt. St Joe's, Thomas More, Hanover, Campbellsville. I know Georgetown, Pike ville and Lindsey Wilson are in the near future.

Hard to believe Durham hasn't at least gotten offers from D II, III or a NAIA school. I know there are at least 4 SK seniors that are getting visits/offers and when they played be was clearly the best on the field that game.

They haven't given the ball to either of those 2 all year, so more than likely not this week. Sampson needs to run between the tackles himself. Not a burner so he won't make the corner against Scott Co. Passing game better do a much better job of capitalizing on opportunities. Can't miss Huesman/Wassom deep like they have in the past. The disgust from the Dixie game is still fresh, Scott Co 49-20.

Being an SK fan, #1ukfan needs to not post again about how awesome SK is until they actually do something. That was the most pathetic display of football I have seen from them since, well, last year. Don't mean haters get vindication, love the way he bleeds, but SK has shown it ain't much!

First of all, Congrats to Dixie on a well deserved win. Out played, out hustled and without a doubt out coached SK. Have no idea what it will take for the D staff at SK to realize a decent QB will run right on you cause its been 3 games! Kuntz could have thrown for 500 yds tonight if he had time. EVERY receiver was open deep EVERY snap!

From what i hear, Dixie's D won't be able to stop the Pioneer's O. If that's accurate I say SK 42-14. I think Dixie has been getting alot better each week, but SK has got time put pressure on CC if they're thinking about a district title!

It was raining for most of the 2nd half. Swanson fumbled the snap and did exactly what EVERY holder is taught to do. I had a perfect view of it. Maybe when Boone's coaches look at the film they'll feel like idiots for acting like ones.

As I stated before, if you call recovering a fumble having it between your legs your wrong. That doesn't constitute possession. Kid was trying to recover a fumble. Boone coach complained then the flag. Already heard too much about the 2 pt conversion the Boone coaches were crying about

From what i hear it wasn't a dirty play. Ball was on the ground in between the kids legs. The kid was going after a fumble which is legal. Boone coach talked ref into making that call.
