Turning point of the game was when SK player hit Jeremiah "Jet" Williams after he was pushed out of bounds and getting back up. Jet went out of game injured and never returned. Personal foul on SK. Kid should have been kicked out of the game. Jet was playing great at QB. Had thrown a TD pass to Thad Moss and was running the ball great. Such a shame. Jet was back 100% and now this on such a dirty play.

Most of the season yes, but was back and finally feeling 100% healthy this past week at practice. I guess that's football but such a shame on a dead play that this happened. Kid just can't catch a break.

Sorry to hear about Boones QB going out with an injury but I don't think a late hit out of bounds typically warrants an ejection. Hope your QB recovers quickly. Congrats Pioneers and good luck the rest of the way to Boone County.

From what i hear it wasn't a dirty play. Ball was on the ground in between the kids legs. The kid was going after a fumble which is legal. Boone coach talked ref into making that call.

The late hit on jet was foul play! Boone could've won this game if not for the injury. They targeted the back up DB on 2 touchdown passes

What happened after I left? Score was 23-14 with not much time left. Moss had a nice game with the TD catch and forcing a fumble that BC returned for six. Diaw ran the ball well and I'm surprised they didn't give him the ball on 4th and a foot to score. That was the play of the game, then three plays later Kuntz throws for a 95 yard TD.

 

SK very sluggish offensively for much of the game.

On the play where Boone qb jet was hit from my view looked like a player trying to make a tackle in the open field and went low on the qb to get him down didnt look like he was trying to hurt him or anything at all but couldnt tell if he was out of of bounds or not since the Boone sideline was right in front of the play. Hope the kid is alright. And for boone they still moved the ball once he left the game. They have a couple nice running backs and very surpised they didnt give it to the big kid on 4th and goal from the one cant remember his name but he had gashed sk for some nice runs on that drive really the turning point in the game. For a 1-6 team coming in Boone played really hard and gave Sk all they could handle for 3 and a half quaters. Sk offense still very sluggish for most of the game. They will need a better showing next week against an improving Dixie team.

The hit sure didn't look good, at first I thought the defender must have been pushed into the runner. Hit him in the back of the knee while he was attempting to get off the turf.
