Why is it half the people picked Beechwood to beat Boone County and yet hardly anybody pick Ryle to be Holmes? or Why will 90% of the people on this board will tell you that Cov-Holmes is the best team in the 9th, yet Boone Co had the best season in the region?

Great game! Too bad that these teams had to meet 1st round of the regional, especally for Bardstown who won thier district and have to play district losser Adair Co, but that is the luck of the draw. Good win for the Indians, Btown played good also just missed a few more shoots.

I am sticking with Boone County to win the 9th region, but this could be a difficult game to win.

Was it his grandson (Drew Kelly) that played in the King of Bluegrass that scored all them points?

They are not very big but LaRue County has freshman Brewer and Sheeran in the 5th region.

Because Boone Co's only lost was to Highlands who they could face in the 2nd game, while Cov-Holmes only lose to Boone Co they wouldnt face until the championship game. Didnt the polls have Highlands ranked 3rd in northern Ky? I dont know much about Beechwood, (BC opening opp) but they had the 3rd best record in the 9th region.

It is a blind draw so it is fair. But Boone Co got the tougher road between the top 2 teams.

No coincident Taylor Co is a very good team, good game. Adair Co is still very much alive, but perhaps a more dififcult road, will find out tomorrow after the draw.

A 13 point win in a game like this, is like winning by twice as much 26.

Dont get me wrong I think they are a very good team. Proabley the most atheltic team with length in the state. But some other teams have good records and tough schedules and while they may not matchup physically the other teams may have better skills or excute the game plan better. Cov-Holmes is an execellent defensive team!

Yeah but do you think that Cov-Holmes would be the favorite against all the teams in the top ten except for Scott County? On a neutral court I would take Scott Co., Elliott Co., Eastern, Shelby Valley, and Boone County over Holmes. They have had a better season than Boone Co. so I am not saying that they should be ranked below them, but I would have the 3 or 4 teams ranked above them.

Forget about the refs. Hopefully Elliott County will bounce back from tonite

Wow! Not the way you want to start the tournment, especally with one of your best players getting T fouls on him. Well I guess he got one this game, but I read article on ESPN and he had another one recently, so what is going on with that?

Well I quess I am overlooking something, wasn't Cov-Holmes ranked 2nd the last AP poll and has lost since? Does anybody else think they are overranked? Maybe thier coach is sandbagging and the people that vote know this. I know they got a good record and beat the top team in the state, but thier performance the last month hasnt been that good. I think around 4 or 5 is more realistic.

Taylor Co from the 5th region they dont get mentioned much but are just as good as the regions top three North Hardin, Adair Co and Bardstown.

Can someone post the charge/blocking foul rule? You got to have your feet set, cant move under player in the air, have to expect the D player to move into your path. I really dont know.

Nothing wrong with that. I quess if Boone Co doesn't make it out of the 9th region they will have something to show for thier good season.
