Not sure why people think Highlands is going to win this game comfortably. I do have my concerns about the offense, namely play calling, but can the defense consistently stop the Scott County offense? The Benke twins do a pretty good job of setting the edge, which means the linebackers and defensive backs need to be solid with their tackling which was lacking a bit against Elder. There is no question that this is a huge RPI game for Highlands so it needs to be treated like a playoff game.

This will not be an issue. He will be playing QB in the frosh game for as many quarters are needed to secure the W.

For Highlands, this game can be more harm than good given the time of season it is being played. Certainly you play to win, but also have to guard against injury to key personnel.

Obviously the kid learned from the debacle at Boyle County.

First of all, congrats to both teams on a hard fought and entertaining high school football game. Both teams deserved to win that game. As for the personal foul call, may have made a difference at the end, but there were anywhere from a half dozen to a dozen calls that were not made and very questionable. One in fact directly led to a CovCath score.

But does he stick with football?

All the talk about next year and beyond has no bearing on the game tonight. Curious to get some perspective on the special teams for each squad. Outside of the first game, I think Highlands kicking game has been solid. The return game, entirely different story. Doesn’t appear to be much scheming going on, thus no real threat to crib one. How about CovCath?

That is immaturity and lack of experience. Handed a job that was not earned. He is the wildcard in the game without question.

Not sure how a twenty something offensive coordinator has an ego. More like a lack of experience that rises to the top when the games get tougher. Question of the week, does Lorenzen have an impact?

Litmer will get most if not all the snaps this week imo. No reason for Tayden to be overly involved or many of the “regulars” for that matter. Big games remain against CovCath, Elder and Scott Co, games which need to have all hands on deck. Be a good week to work on the pass game and get some younger guys some quality minutes at the varsity level.

And never mention the 4th all time leading tackler in the SEC, Jeff Kremer.

More like 120-130 of you take away the late game flops. Cannot say enough good things about the kid. Everyone tune into KSR on Monday morning and hear the kid do an interview. You will be extremely impressed by his composure and how well he speaks.

Did # 22 play last week. As I have said numerous times, the kid is a winner and has a ton of the intangibles that you cannot teach. His moxy and leadership is unmatched. Pretty obvious the team rallied around him tonight. Even had him throw a couple of nice easy passes that kept the sticks moving. Great game to watch and there will be a lot of guys hitting the ice bath tomorrow. Good job by both teams.
