Highlands 1. Notre Dame 0

What a game!!!

After 65 minutes of back and forth runs coming up empty handed Ally Lickert finally got past NDA back line to have a 1v1 with NDA keeper.  Shot skims inside of the near post to take a Highlands favorable deflection into the far side of the net!!!

Next 15 minutes was a total bend don’t break defense by Birds as Pandas continued to really challenge the Birds back line and GK Bailee  Class.  Class played like Superwomen the whole game, and rightfully was awarded the 9th Region Tournament MVP….  4 straight Post Season “clean sheets” for Class.

Up next: Region 12 Champ Boyle County, who is 24-0-1 this season, mowing people down day in and day out. Going to be a challenge.

GO BIRDS!!!!
