I agree 100%..... My daughter also attended and I observed the camp as well and came away very impressed with the way the UK staff and players ran it. There were more fundamentals worked on than I thought there was going to be. Great,Great Camp!

This is one of the best draws for the 15th in recent years.

Leslie has a pretty decent ball team. They get very good guard play from Howard & Hubbard, both are quick and if you leave Hubbard open for a second he will drill the 3. Howard shoots well from outside but seems to dribble drive better and shoot the short jumper or get the assist. They do not have as much size inside as in years past but they still get decent post play.

Blackcats get win number 1........They are really a better team than 1- 8 but with 5 new starters(all with no or limited varsity exp.) they have struggled to finish games, last night they finally finished one.

One of the big things at Allen Central has always been a low number of kids playing. The feeder schools are decent and have good numbers, just need to keep the kids interested in playing. Coaching stability is a must, seems like they go thru coaches every couple yrs.

It's 2 days after turkey day.........

Don't know all the details just yet, but I thought Belfry would stay on the sch. like in the years they were up in 3A(the Jonathan Wright QB days and Haywood going 4 wide, still can't forget that sight), and we still played. I'm not sure on P'burg's sch. but they just have 3 dist. games so I'm interested to see who's added.

Notice I removed the part of your quote about 6 in a row.......... I have heard that the rivalry is over after this one.

There was no 45 yd penalty.....A player was ejected(which will be challenged due to a terrible call)and he got a penalty when he found out he was ejected. One was marked off the other declined as it gave SC the ball on downs. There was a flag on the sideline(a non-player,which is why P'burg needs better control of the people inside the players box). SC had a couple of unsportsmanlike calls as well.... Overall it was a poorly called game.

It is legal to change jersey's and it was reported to the ref's by the staff. We at P'burg don't have the numbers that Ashland has so when a kid goes down with a injury(one that was laughed at by some Ashland fans by the way, class) we plug with what we have. The kid who switched plays both TE & OT and it depends on how the staff feels on where he starts on game nights. Our OT went out with a concussion and 81 had to go to OT so he went to his 66 jersey so we would'nt have formation problems. It's the same number he wore during the Leslie Co. game, which the Ash. staff had a copy of.

You hate to bad mouth anyone but yet your willing to go ahead and do it....So if your a coach then that player would sit out and/or run the next practice, right? So the offsetting personal fouls(started by the Ashland player) and the personal foul late in the game on Ashland would cause you to run those players, correct? FYI,it was just one player that made the hit and it was addressed at the half. And by some of the things I heard during the game I now believe some of the things about the Ashland fans.

I look for P'burg to recover from the 0-2 start and get the win.

It's 47 - 26 Holmes late in the 4th(3:26 to go)

Stonecrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg,Ky.

It will also be the first time anyone has been on the new grass...P'burg has not even practiced on it.

They will scrimmage this morning @ P'burg.......Hope to post details later.

In years past they are played on U of L's practice fields and Papa John's as well.

Prestonsburg will be there, they are coming off a very good showing at EKU.

Leaving this morning...................:walk:

I have not been given the details yet. I will post any info. as I get it.

The draw will be at the East Ky Expo Center in Pikeville on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Teams will also be allowed to practice for an hour on the new floor. The times have not been assigned yet.

The 58th dist. final will be tonight in the P'burg fieldhouse...Tip-off 7:00.

I think the Expo center will be a great venue for the 15th. I wish it was built about 4 yrs sooner. I think you meant the 7th region's defense.

P'burg wins on Sr. night....Leslie led the Cats w/24.

P'burg hosts Betsy Layne in a huge 58th dist. match-up. This will be for the lead in the dist., as each team has one loss going in. BL will be through with dist. play after this game and P'burg still has a make up game with South Floyd. Any thoughts or predictions?
