KBA Showcase is usually in November, does anyone know the teams and when they play?

Is this the day after thanksgiving? I will try to make sure to be at the Pineville game and watch my cousin.

Where is Cornerstone Christian from that is playing in this? There is a Cornerstone Christian School located in Lily(community between London and Corbin), but they have not participated in varsity sports in the past.

Not sure, they aren't currently a member of the KHSAA, I don't believe.

 

I've spoken with one in Illinois before but can't recall the city. Where is Trinity Christian from, I know one is in Texas but not sure on these teams.

 

Perhaps they are local, since the time is early or they're staying overnight.

These are two private Christian School teams. Trinity in Lexington and Cornerstone is in Shelbyville. They play in a private state assoc. (KCSAA) and asked me in the summer if they could play in the event. They are very excited.

Wonderful opportunity for these young men, to play in Rupp. Well done and let the others know, your hard work is appreciated KHSB1....

I remeber last year when Deming went there, we faced Louisville Holy Cross and won the game by 5, I told the guys at least you have a win under your belt on Rupp Arena's Floor. This game followed the sad incident of Miss Leota Massey's death(mother of then Coach Aaron Massey), Jamie Johnson took over the Head Coaching duties due to the death of Coach Massey's mother's death and did a good job, it was a game none of the team members will soon forget.

The best matchup has to be South Laurel and Russell. The Adair County and North Laurel game should be pretty good also.

Several good match-ups....that could be entertaining.

Lynn Camp and Buckhorn might be a nice match- up as well.....I here both Coaches have agreed to an arm Wrestlin match at the intermission.....just kidding.....I like Coach Pennington and Coach Noble. They actually kind look like brothers..

That is funny. I don't know Lynn Camp's coach, but I know Coach Noble. It would be tough to beat him.

 

I agree this could be a good game though. I look forward to seeing it.
