  1. WOW! Be happy for what you have accomplished.
  2. Congratulations to the Bearcats. Good luck in Richmond.
  3. I thought North Oldham's record would be better this year?
  4. Any chance Walton Verona was looking ahead to playing the feisty Warsaw Wildcats?
  5. The schools choose to play each other twice for a total of 12 games. Each of the 7 schools think this is the best way to determine a champion. I agree that it does tie up the schedule for teams such as Walton Verona and Williamstown, teams that play 2 district seed games against each district opponent as well.
  6. To clarify, Walton Verona could "toughen" their schedule by picking up some strong northern Kentucky teams. I am pretty sure Boone and Ryle are not interested in a conference for the small schools. If you look at the history of our conference, the conference has had several schools that make some noise in the post season in several different sports. You can't pick and choose what years you want to be in the conference and what years you may want to be out. They choose to be a part of the NCKC.
  7. They play in the North Central Kentucky Conference by choice. If they want to drop out of the conference, it affects other sports programs as well, not just girls basketball. If they dropped out, then they can pick up Boone, Ryle and some other strong Northern Kentucky programs.
  8. With the size difference, I have to go with Owen by 1 in triple overtime.
  9. Congratulations to both teams. Good luck to the Lady Bearcats at the state. I think they could win at least their first two games in Richmond if Sandlin gets healthy.
  10. Owen did not shoot well but I am sure WV had something to do with that. The rematch should be interesting.
  11. The Lady Demons did give a good fight but did miss a lot of opportunities.
  12. I will take OC. Too much pressure for the Lady Mustangs.
  13. Expected this one to be closer in the Demon Dome.
  14. You can't hear yourself think in Anderson's gym if the crowd is right so I give the advantage to the Lady Bearcats.
  15. Nice win for the Raiders.Who quit from Trimble?
  16. Too soft of a schedule for North. WV will "d" em up.
  17. I would be shocked if Oldham can keep it under 10 points.
  18. Sorry to hear about Ron Kinmon getting out of coaching. Is Utter the interim coach for the rest of the season or will they open the job up after the season is over?
  19. Even though they are young, Anderson has a lot of talent and will be a team that will challenge for the 8th region title again this year. Kays does a great job.
  20. Congratulations. Tori plays as hard as anyone in the 8th region.
