Tori Wilhoit from Williamstown Scores 1000th Point

Featured Replies

In a 55-54 win at Pendleton Co., Williamstown Jr. Guard Tori Wilhoit scored her 1000th point. Foul trouble limited her bid to grab her 1000th rebound though, She currently sits at 996 rebounds. Way to go Tori.

Congratulations to a fine young lady!

Congratulations. Tori plays as hard as anyone in the 8th region.

Great job Tori. You are a true warrior.

:notworthy: Congrats to Tori, and the Lady Demons. Best of luck and I hope she stays healthy.

Great Kid! Great Accomplishment! :thumb:

How long has she been on the varsity team. Seems like she has been on the team for a long time. Cograts. 1000 pts and 1000 rebounds is a rare accomplishment.

Congrats to Tori.

That's the major thing that irks me when it comes to girls HS basketball. Some of these ladies have played varsity since they were 13 years old or however old a 7th grader is & to me it kind of diminishes this kind of accomplishment as we see it 2 or 3 times a season seems like. Nonetheless, congrats.

:clap:I would think it would be much harder, and more of an accomplishment to score your 1000th career point one month into your Jr year. Regardless if you have played since you were a seventh grader or not. It should be much harder to score/rebound as a 7, 8, or 9th grader when every night you are playing girls much older and bigger than you. Girls that are in the 10, 11, and 12th grade are expected to put up these type of numbers, but when you do it at a much younger age is just huge.
