I think this will be a good one. Holmes looked the better of the two this morning with a great performace agaisnt LC. I wonder who Henderson is going to guard, maybe they will try and let him lock down on Middleton and put R. Johnson or Clark on Miller and give him some help. I think Henderson can shut down whoever he guards except for Miller and I think he could slow Miller down a little. Holmes has a lot of weapons and if Miller can lock down his man that is okay because somebody else can take over. Holmes won't play a zone like Tilghman tried and Shelby tried some. Hopefully they won't have to help too much off Miller and allow Setty and Middleton to shoot bombs away. I think that Avery does a good job handling the ball and despite having 22 TO"s this morning the team handled the ball when they needed to and didn't allow Catholic a lot of easy buckets on TO's. The key may also be Pittman. Where did he come from? Can he keep up his outstanding shooting from outside?

Looks like Scotty had a good game to me 21 and 9 along with 10-16 from the field. Very talented player but seems to get a bad rap on this sight. Not a big high energy guy but a good defender and solid player all around. I believe he will be playing in the NBA someday and how many KY guys can say that.

Lex Cath continued their trend of getting off to a huge lead early (just like region games agaisnt Scott Co. and Station) and then holding off a comeback attempt. If you are going to beat Catholic you are have to: 1. Stay in the game early 2. Take care of the ball!

Good grief, how many people do they have to have before they open another high school? Not only do they have so many people in the county but they impact guys who come in after their freshman year like Jones, Hundley, Gyun, Euton, etc. etc.

I bet he ends up at LCA.

For the record I hope Holmes and UHA meet in the first semis. I am a fan of both of these teams.

Greenwood Throw the 3-5 teams in a hat, they could go in anyorder. Holmes could be #3 but I give the nod to UHA and J-town because they have a large # of quality wins and UHA has an All-A title. UHA is also on a pretty good winning streak. I don't think Holmes has beat any legit top 15 teams in the state and I know UHA and J-town have. Also, Central's schedule has been brutal and they have a win over Ballard and an OT loss to Station. A very hot and cold team but when on I bet they can play with anybody. Another interesting note is that the field includes 5 All A teams and all are in my top 11.

Great job by the Lady Indians. They only play one senior but she is a good one. Hopefully Indians can continue to win and also build a solid foundation to make a deep run next year.

I think this is a close one. Paintsvilles offense is great but they just don't have a very good defense. That is why I think J-town is going to win the game.

I read a quote from PLD's coach that he returns four starters next season. If that is true I would put Dunbar as the team to beat.

I am not a Catholic fan in the least but they are just dominating great teams, I would put them as the favorite with 4 legit D1 prospects. Also, I think Mason is playing great ball too, but I still think Catholic is playing better.

Anyway, I think Mason played better than I have seen them play all season agaisnt Clark Co yesterday. Also the Indian guards somehow find a way to get into foul trouble every game. That can't happen tonight. Brandon Rash must stay out of foul trouble because he is the only one who can guard Miller. I'm afraid Mason County could roll in this one if the Indians get in foul trouble or can't handle the Royals pressure.

Jordan Smart couldn't miss tonight and the Knights had plenty of balance. I liked watching the battle between Novasel and Phares. Phares is a great player.
