This was Paula Buser's last game as head coach of the Lady Royals. In 8 years she has a 153-93 62.2% 3 Region Runner Up Trophies, 1 District Runner-Up Trophy, and 6 District Champion Trophies.

I think instead of Kellinger, you mean Keller Menke..she had 2.

 

Who made all tourney team? I'm guessing the 3 seniors for Mason County.

Congrats to the Mason County seniors on a stellar career. I know it didn't end like you wanted it to, but all 3 of you had great high school seasons, and you will be sorely missed on your team next year. It sure won't seem the same not seeing you three on the floor next year!

 

And congrats to Montgomery County on their fourth consecutive regional title. That takes some talent to do, coming in with a target on your back all those years, and still being able to take home the crown. Good luck in state, and represent the 10th region well.

Mason has nothing to be ashamed of.... the run they have had is defintely nothing to sneeze at... Chambers, Cline, and Litzinger have been a joy to watch...

 

Jehlik was the difference... she has improved greatly since the beginning of the season, and it shows....

 

Montgomery can make a deep run in state if they play like they have since their loss at Bourbon in early Feb... after that game they have taken off like a rocket...

Not having to play Catholic their first game doesn't hurt their chances any. Henry Clay is a good team, but I think that Montgomery has a better chance beating them than Catholic. But once again, hats off to both teams. Great game to watch, other than the final outcome.
