I'm sure if he was moving to Maysville this would not be a problem. Look at Mason County's roster this year. There were kids from Bracken Co. and Ohio just to name a couple of places. I know I am forgetting some other places. But my point is Mason County has been getting talent to move into the area and everything is fine and dandy. But when another 10th region school get some fresh meat. Then some people want to complain. Seems strange to me.

Best move Bracken Co. could have made. They got a good one Patrick knows the game and is a good teacher. Mark my word Patrick will enjoy much success at Bracken and in the next couple of seasons his name will pop up for higher profile jobs. But, his loyalty will probably keep him a Polar Bear for years to come. Congrats Patrick and Good Luck!

What's the root of all evil? Can you say money, money, money. I really think the first round could be held together. But, the semi's should most definetly be split sessions.

I think Montgomery Co. is doing an excellent job of hosting the tournament. They really got my respect by sitting on the visitor bench and having the MC crowd sitting on the visitors side. You would never see Mason Co. move their fans to the other side. Through the first round a very classy operation. Keep up the good work!

If my teams is in the Region Finals I don't care what day they play on. Heck I would be there to watch at 3:00 a.m. Monday morning if that's when it was played.

I hate the idea of playing the 1st round at host schools. If you like to watch all the games you have to choose one of 4 to go to. The 10th Region Class A did this for two years and all the schools voted to go back to one site which they did this year. Makes for better atmosphere and better for the fans IMO. Also, the coaches liked it because they could scout potential opponents one last time because they could see each game. Keep the tournament at one site.

Give me the Sweet 16 any day.

Dosen't really matter if St. Pat did or not. Deming still alive when it counts. I'm sure St. Pat would trade a couple of those wins to still be playing this week. I guess they didn't have the luck of the Irish!

How do you get this? I'll agree with you on Pendleton Co. being close to NKU. Deming and Nicholas Co. are both a 30 minute bus ride to Mason Co. For both of them to get to NKU is and hour plus. Harrison Co. is about a 40-45 minute ride to Mason Co. So I would believe that the 38th votes for it at Mason Co. But who am I to say? The 37th will not give it to NKU next year. There is a scheduling conflict with the 9th Region and a rodeo being held their.

Warren Cent. 4th region dominance comes to and end with a District semi-final loss to the Purples.

They have won it 6 times. The last three being 1963, 1988, and 1994. The 1994 Championship was a 5 point double overtime thriller over no other than Pendleton Co.

Congrats to the Devils on taking care of business. This is the first time in school history that they have made the region 3 years in a row. Now let's not be satisfied with that. Let's go to Montgomery Co. as 38th District Champions. Will be a tough game Friday but I believe the Devils are up to the task. I'm proud of you guys.

Shooty is what KY high school basketball is all about. I've enjoyed watching him play and wish him the best the rest of the season and whatever he chooses to do after graduation.

Can we give this a rest? The 40th picked Mntgomery and that's where it will be. I like it at Mason but guess what? I'm going to suck it up and drive to Mt. Sterling to enjoy the best Regional tournament in the state. I think we need to all act like adults and accept the change. I guarantee you the kids on the court are going to act more mature than some of the post that you will read on this thread!

Maybe every team should schedule the Washington Generals for Senior NIght. That may make SugarDaddy happy.

My guess is they wanted to bring the Seniors out so they could get a standing "O" from the home crowd being it was Senior night. You got to remember that with just a little over a minute to go it was about 12 to 14 points. IF I was the coach I would want my free throw shooters in the game to help close the deal. If my memory serves me right the bench in at the end scored about 8 unanswered to finish the game. I think Coach Johnson, Brown, and Maynard show nothing but class and you should be proud that they are coaching your team. They just completed the second winning season in 4 years and only the thrid in 20 years. So be proud of the Staff and the Devils.
