Congrats to Devils. Surprised at the small crowd for Senior night. Grause performed well. Nice defensive game for Mitchell. I can't understand why Coach Johnson didn't start him again, especially after the good games he's played lately? 25 against Augusta, 13 against Brossart, 18 with Bracken, and shooting 81% from the charity stripe! It has to be disappointment to be put in and taken out of the starting line up, especially when you play consistantly.

Noticed the King kid got 30 points and the LH said he was just a freshman.

Is this one game or does this kid average 20 points per game?? Pretty impressive for a freshman to score 30 points!!! How big is the King Kid?? Is he a guard or inside player??

The twins are apx. 6'3". Kyle usually averages about 20 a game. Luke a little less. IBoth are wing players. It looks like he had a good game last night. Good luck at district boys. Keep up the good work.

Sounds like the future is bright for Deming with the two real good freshman twins. Will have to make a trip to Robertson County and check them out since they still have three more seasons!!!

My guess is they wanted to bring the Seniors out so they could get a standing "O" from the home crowd being it was Senior night. You got to remember that with just a little over a minute to go it was about 12 to 14 points. IF I was the coach I would want my free throw shooters in the game to help close the deal. If my memory serves me right the bench in at the end scored about 8 unanswered to finish the game. I think Coach Johnson, Brown, and Maynard show nothing but class and you should be proud that they are coaching your team. They just completed the second winning season in 4 years and only the thrid in 20 years. So be proud of the Staff and the Devils.

12-14 points with a minute or so is a good cushion. This isn't the first time he has done this....And if the bench is that good that they can roll off 8 points in a minute then maybe they should see some more playing time...

I think the Deming staff show alot of class. You go watch some other team if you don't like the way they coach.

That's why I put apx. 6'3". Apx means approximately, so can give or take an inch or 2. The kids can play no matter how tall they are but it takes 5 kids to make a team. I thought Jamey Johnson was Deming's coach. Did that change?
