Coach McMillan has done an OUTSTANDING job so far and will continue to do so becasue that is the type of coach that he is. They had a pretty successful JV team last year (4 and 4 or 5 and 4). They also have a Freshman and Jr. High teams and with them now having a youth football program things can only go up. :thumb: All of the coach's that they have working with the kids do an outstanding job. I think that they may actually even stun a few people this year. If anyone has a chance they should come to one of the W-V home games and support a new program getting started and also see one the BEST complex's in the State of KY. :thumb:

:thumb: Agree with the officiating (which I usually don't) they did a really nice job keeping it clean. Let the kids play a little but not let it get out of control. It would have been much worse if Walton would have shot the ball well the first half! Setteled for jump shots a few times when they could have shot layups all night against that 1-3-1. Good luck against SK on Thursday. :ylsuper:

I didn't know you had to know anyting about basketball to referee!:laugh::laugh::lol: Most of the 8th region officials (not all) need to have a refresher course!:thumb:

If Payton does play that is great. I do not think that it will not hurt them against W-Town. Playing aginst SK, different story. You need that Sr. leadership. It's a bad draw for Williamstown no matter who they drew.

W-V by 13. IF Payton don't play. Vance did a great job running the point the other night. Keep up the good work:thumb:JUST PLAY HARD.

Descent game by the Bearcats. Underclass kids stepped up last night. I thought that Sullivan did a great job at running the point. Took good care of the ball. Not many mistakes. At one time, 1 freshman, 3 sophmores and 1 jr. on the floor. Good job by Jordan P. He played well, Defense was good. Good luck on Monday night. :thumb:

1= Mack Bryan Station 2= Miller MC 3+ Edmonson UHA 4= Hopson UHA 5= Henderson Holmes If Hopson would play defense like Henderson from Holmes he would be the best by far. This is just IMO. I have seen him play a few times and that is just it. WHY turn it off. Always have it on. :thumb:

Someone who was at the game. Jeanie. Who guarded Sorrell besides "Casper":lol: I know that he is a solid player but kids need to step up and guard someone. Weakside and myself were chating about the game last night and we said that if no one stepped up that he would have 30.

Not bad considering that he is about the 4th or 5th best player in the state. :devil:

You can scratch officials but that usually don't amount to a hill of beans. If that was the case, Watkins would never officiate another game. I know several coach's have scratched him. Was he one of them for tonight game? Did Grant play zone all night?

Just think how good Hopson would be if he played Defense!:jump:

I was very young in 81 when SK won. I do know that W-V gave them all they wanted. Wasn't there a terrible call in that game that gave SK the win? Anyone know? I will throw the 81 team of W-V in there. :thumb:

Walton by 8. We need to get out and guard Gamble though, and not let him do what he wants to do like he did at Walton.

I did not make it to the game but a friend of mine did. I asked him about the officials and he said that it was not very good. 1 official making 90% of the calls and I am sure that he was a mountain official. Maybe not from Hazzard's region but I bet he was from 15 or 16. Good run by the Wildcats.
