Payton Ponzer injured early in 2nd half (ankle?). Hopefully, he will be OK for districts.

Walton held their own, and impressed me with their play. Holy Cross is a good team, Sorrell is a great player. Ponzer will be okay, hopefully, he's tough. Kirk played good with solid shooting. Sullivan is improved a lot throughout this year.

I know that he is a solid player but kids need to step up and guard someone.

"Casper" that's a good name:D But different people switched on and off of Sorrell. Honestly, I don't think anyone on WV's team could lock him down for less than 30 points. He's just that good. Ponzer went out early, so it hurt Walton. But you and Weakside were right, someone needed to step up and say I won't let him score but seemed like no one could do that. He's the real deal. And HC is a solid team.

And this was after Ponzer went down. Sorrell scored 18 points in the 3rd. Sorrell is a player! But WV also had several chances at getting closer in the last 25 sec but could not connect.

 

Probably one of the best all round efforts from WV this year.
