  1. He did pretty good, other than giving up a fumble in the first quarter.
  2. For the past couple years its been at Beechwood, and I'm sure scrimaging on the turf is way better then tearing up the grass at Boone.
  3. Thoughts and Prayers for Nate's family and friends.
  4. Junior, T.J Bates had a couple good catches.
  5. The offense really didn’t take a blow at widereciever but like I said earlier Daniel Loesak and Cory Spaulding were the Number 2 and 3 wide receivers to Doucette last year. They totaled the rest of the receiving yards besides what tight end Sam Brown brought in. Both of them have greats hands and can catch the ball, even though they will never have that break a way speed like Duece did. For quarterback's Mike Walsh and Nate Alford, it will be there first season starting varsity since Bogle has started the last 2 to 3 years. From what I have heard both athletes have been throwing great during 7 on 7 drills and they should battle it out in these next couple weeks for the starting spot.
  6. Yes!, Boone did lose 30 seniors last year, and Yes! Cory Farris, Shawn bogle, and Mercier Doucette were a big part of it. This years senior's have been working hard to replace the positions lost from last year, Seniors: Zac Eagler, Brian Robertson, Andrew Brown, Andy Rich, Cory Spaulding, and Jason Chisholm all return on defense this season. On offense Zach Hall is the only returning lineman, but juniors Drew Lipscomb, and Tyler Potter have stepped it up to fill the center and guard Position. Playing boths ways Rich, and Brown fill in the rest of the line at tackle and end. Cory Spaulding and Daniel Loesak return as the main recievers as well as senior Mike Walsh and junior Nate Alford, who are batttling for the starting quarterback role right now. I know I have great pride in the Rebel's and that you may agree or disagree with me but I believe that Boone County is very underated and they are going to surprise a few teams this season.
  7. Cory Farris and Mercier Doucette of Boonce County
  8. Your right people in Florence might of thought, we were at war or something if the cannon would of been at the game. I dont remember the score of the game that well but I know the Bird's put up at least 50 on the Rebels.
  9. IMO im not a big fan of the loud horns/sirens, which teams set off after scoring a TD, theres a difference from letting a cannon off once or twice, but letting a loud siren run for a minute or two is Annoying!
  10. Randy Borchers (laugh)
  11. Boone County Juniors: Charles Quainoo RB/LB 5,10 180 Adam Sunderhaus DE/FB 6,0 200 Drew Lipscomb OL 6,2 215 Jake Deason FB/LB 5,10 185
  12. Andy Rich of Boone County
  13. Cory is going to be best off at UK for 2-3 years, maybe even 4, so when he gets a chance to get drafted again, I'm sure he will be in one of the top 25 rounds. Congrats Cory!!!!
  14. Farris has 5 home runs so far
  15. Boone's infield is one of the nicest around here besides St Henrys and Dixies, but unfortunatley there will always be giant patches of dirt in the out field from the football team practicing on it.
  16. Zac Eagler & Brian Robertson from Boone County, both seniors-to-be will anchor the defense next season.
  17. Gob Bless, rest in peace Mitch
  18. I didn't get a chance to make it out to the game today, but im positive Kevin Williams pitched.
  19. Since Boone County is sponsered by Nike, sometime over the summer SPARQ Training is going to come out to the school and test the whole football team in a number of drills. Its basically like a combine, St. X and Boone County are the only two schools in Kentucky that Nike does this for.
  20. Congrats to Mason County, as well as Holmes for representing NKY well.
  21. Sam Brown TE/DE and Greg Turner DT from Boone County will be attending Thomas More next season and I'm sure there will be a couple more guys from Boone going there to play also.
  22. Add Sam Brown and Greg Turner from Boone County to the list
  23. Boone County will start spring ball this coming monday if the girls basketball team loses tuesday, friday or saturday!
