I assume Cooper's field is ready, correct?

I had hoped to hear how the scrimmage went. I wish Cooper the best of luck in their new school and all of their sports. You never know you might come back to bite you in the butt one day.

Haven't seen it personally, but was told it is very rough.

Most came from Conner. I'd say about 80-85%, the other 15-20% came from Ryle and Boone. Srs. had the option to stay at previous schools, so I doubt Cooper has many Srs. at all.

Keep the comments on the game and off each other or this one is closed.

I went to the scrimmage. Dixie dominated both sides of the ball. Dixie looked good but I think that was mostly due to Cooper being not so good. Dixie's a little on the small side this year but they have some pretty good speed.

What kind of turnout numbers-wise did Cooper get for its teams this year? I assume they are also fielding a freshman and JV teams?

They had quite a few kids out there but I don't know if that included the freshman or not.

Cooper has roughly 40-45 kids with the majority of them being sophomores. I know they have a couple of seniors but not many. They also have about 40 kids on their freshman team. A lot of support from the families from what I saw.

Didn't look like Cooper had quite the numbers for a 6A squad, which I would expect for a program just starting up Heck, I only counted 61 for Dixie which is down from last year even after Dixie had about 16 leave/quit the team.

 

Saw some good fan support for Cooper at the Dixie scrimmage as well.
