  1. What happened to Osborne and is it serious? I was not able to make the game. Looks like the Lady Panthers came ready to play tonight. Good job girls! :thumb:
  2. This was the first time I have been able to watch Rose Hill play and they impressed me alot with Euton and Jackson. These two players are really fun to watch and are fundamentaly sound. Good Luck to the Royals throughout the tournament! :thumb:
  3. Paintsville played a good game today. They put up 79 points but gave up 71. When they face off against UHA, they need to step up their defense. Do not be surprised if the Tigers make it to the championship. Best of Luck to the Tigers! :thumb:
  4. This was a good showing by Bishop Brossart. University Heights has talent and strength. I look for them to take it all at Richmond this year. Best of Luck to the Mustangs the rest of the year! :thumb:
  5. Congratulations to Mr. Welch. He is a fine athlete and continues to show that on the basketball court for the Panthers this year. He will make a great DB at the college level. I plan to go watch him several times when he makes it to MSU. Best of Luck to ya kid! You will do great! :thumb:
  6. Hazard is a very good basketball team. They are very well coached and have some great athletes. Gallatin Co. has a good tream also, but Hazard will be too much for the Wildcats. I am going to predict Hazard by 12+. They are a very strong and smart basketball team. I look forward to watching this match-up. Best of Luck to both teams! :thumb:
  7. I had my doubts but Gallatin Co. proved me wrong. Way to represent the eighth. I was there tonight and you boys played very hard. Coach Jones had his boys ready. Good luck the rest of the way! :thumb:
  8. Anderson Co. hands down. I believe Shelby Co. is second. I was at the game against Gallatin and Shelby was up by double digits at halftime. They just started playing sluggish in the second half. These two teams will run the tables come region tournament time.
  9. Metcalfe Co. by 9. I have seen these boys play and they are a very good ball team. If Gallatin plays hard and without the "big head" they could come out with a win. But by the earlier post it looks like Gallatin thinks it is going to be a cake walk. It could get ugly for GC, but I hope Coach Jones will have his boys ready. Best of Luck to Gallatin! :thumb:
  10. Pineville Paintsville UHA LCA Somerset Rose Hill Metcalfe Co. Hazard Painstville UHA Rose Hill Hazard UHA Hazard UHA TB: 134
  11. Gallatin Co. in the finals? Metcalfe Co. is a very good team and very athletic. I think the Wildcats have a good team, but will be one and done in this tournament. If they happen to make it past the first round, June Buchanan or University Heights will be in their way. Best of Luck to all the teams! :thumb:
  12. It was a great game by the Wildcats. Very inconsistent officiating tonight. This is not an excuse at all but I am sure most would agree that when you call a weak push off on a player, you have to call the deliberate fouls down low. I believe that Gallatin had 13 fouls the entire game and both teams were playing very agressive. Regardless, good luck to GC at Richmond. Represent the 8th well. Best of Luck to Coach Jones and the Wildcats! :thumb:
  13. WOW! With Carroll playing very well against Gallatin Co. in the last match-up, most of these predictions have Gallatin winning by 20+. I think both teams will be playing their best tonight. Carroll Co. knows they have to bring their A+ game if they want a win and Gallatin wants to go to Richmond for the third straight year. I would not count on the game being a blowout. Carroll could pull the upset. Im sure it will be another great game of basketball in the 8th region. It should be a packed house in Warsaw tonight. Best of Luck to both teams! :thumb:
  14. Walton Verona put the Wildcats in overtime earlier in the year. However, this game is played at Gallatin Co. and the place will be packed. Im going with the Wildcats by 12. Best of Luck to both teams! :thumb:
  15. Im not sure how many he made all together. But in the third, I heard his name quite a bit!
  16. We cannot talk about the Panthers in this game without mentioning Will Yager. He really stepped up for the Panthers in the third quarter. He is a great player with a great attitude. I always love watching this kid play. Best of Luck to the four teams that remain! :thumb:
  17. Top Ten - No Order Minnis - Shelby Penny - Anderson Dunlap - Oldham Payne - Oldham Maegley - Simon Kenton Brown - Gallatin Carrithers - South Oldham Edwards - Spencer Layne - Simon Kenton Gamble - Owen
  18. I misunderstood you buttels. That is 100% my fault. I do believe it will be a great week of basketball this week for the 8th. Every team has to take care of business. I look forward to listening to the show. I have listened in before and you do a great job I might add. :thumb:
  19. Don't count your ducklings before they hatch my friend. If I recall, Walton Verona put Gallatin into overtime and should have won. On the other side, Williamstown was only down 1 in the fourth quarter to the Wildcats. Carroll Co. also played them very well just a couple weeks ago. Don't count any team out during tournament time. But I will see you in "Sawville" :thumb: Best of Luck to all the teams!
  20. Eric Dunlap and Billy Payne should definitely be on this list. They are two from Oldham Co. that can really play ball. Without these two, Oldham would ahve never made it to Rupp last year.
  21. Im going to take Carroll Co. by 4. Spencer has built some momentum coming into tonights game. With or without Girdy, the Lady Panthers can play with Spencer Co. Best of luck to both teams! :thumb:
  22. Points are not everything either. Brown is the glue of this team. Without Scott, Gallatin Co. would fall apart. But this is just ones own opinion. Good luck to GC as they enter the Class "A"! :thumb:
  23. Shelby will take this one by 12 at home. Best of Luck to both teams! :thumb:
  24. I have seen Gallatin play quite a bit this year. I do not see Trent as their best player IMO. I realize he scores alot but alot of his points are off rebounds that bounce to him. He is kind of like the "garbage" man for GC. Do not get me wrong, Trent is a good player but I cannot see him as top 5. In my opinion, the best player at Gallatin Co. is Scott Brown. He handles the ball well, great defender, and shoots lights out. He really helps his team succeed.
  25. I agree! He is a very strong and smooth player. He really gets his team involved in the game also. He is one player that is very hard to stop.
