Can't say that GCHS is the worse but we did loose #53 Brent Yates to a L2L3 Break, he was the very heart of the Musketeers but it is wonderful to see on the sideline and last week he didn't need his walker to stand on the side lines.:thumb:

I must add my 2 cents worth on this one, you have got to have loyalty to your team and support the boys whether they are winning or not. Yes, I know for some winning is the only element but as a Mom, I only care that they do their best and stand up for their team 100%. Yes, I am a Musketeer Mom and I do love the green, gold and black, I love the "Musketeer March" when the boys enter the field on a Friday night and I love watching the excitement of the younger kids trying to give high 5's to the boys as they walk in. The team may not be the team of the 77 year but to me they are all winners and CHAMPIONS. GO GCHS:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::dancingpa

Well, I believe I know where. Football is a rough sport, it is one that I didn't want my boys to play but they both have loved playing it and I am a supporter of my children. There are times when my eyes are closed but I do know that it has been one of the best activities that they have done and I am proud to be a Football mom.:dancingpa

My first ever football game was at Prestonsburg when they played Russell, and Prestonsburg won and I was soaked to the bones, made me dislike football.:cry:

Unfortunately, Dr. John Gray, Psychiatrist, wrote it about getting along with the opposite sex, and I wrote the title incorrectly, Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus.:ylsuper:

I was told that #76 will be out this week and will have a hard cast put on next week, can crate it up and play Mason Co. and playoff game.

Wow, Mom's are taking the heat here. :fight: I am a Mom of football player, I don't necessarilly like for my son to get hurt but I know that comes with the territory. I really don't believe that fathers like for their sons to get hurt either but as the saying goes "Women are from Venus and Men from Mars", we think differently and that really is a good thing.

There is a poem that sums it all up, remember that these boys are someones children and that we can hurt a child by cruel words and poor treatment. We must remember that as adults sometimes we go way too far and we really "show" ourselves. These boys wants to win but let them have fun and treat them with respect. Just a mom's opinion.

I also heard #76 may have broke his thumb in practice last night, how come there are so many injuries to this team?:confused:

The only fun the boys seem to be having is on Monday JV night and Thursday Freshman night. How honest can you be when you tell a bunch of boys that no one walks in after the 1st week of school and then you bring 4 people in. There are many problems at GCHS but it isn't the boys or the lack of heart and pride.:cry:

Doesn't KHSAA Rules required the boy to be suspended for 1 game(not the coach) and I heard the second week was for their behavior after the ejection.:confused:

Regardless of where or what side of the county they come from, bad behavior is bad behavior.
